a true work of craftsmanship
The G-WORKS Gas Saver Plus is a true work of craftsmanship and art. It should have a place in the Smithsonian for this tiny jewel. The fit and finish is impeccable and perfect. In practical application it works flawlessly and quickly for me. There are no English instructions but I found an excellent YouTube video where the author had and discussed several less well made devices and put this better choice through its paces. It was almost intuitive for me without the video but I’m glad to have viewed it first. Even the air-bleed button worked smooth and effortlessly purging excess air. I did keep a scale close and weighed the canister being filled so not to overfill. Now I’m able to add enough fuel for a particular trip and carry a smaller, lighter canister but buy the much less expensive economy size one pound canisters to fill the smaller canister. In fact I’m keeping the smaller canister a bit over half full for day hikes to save some weight. A hot beverage is luxurious in the colder months with a snack of gourmet chocolate, berries and pecans or walnuts.

Works great.
Does what it says on the tin, with no significant complications. It's particularly well made. The only drawbacks are that it takes a bit of care and extra time to avoid over-filling, and it's just a little creepy working with explosive gas. It's a little bulky and heavy. This is a non-issue for at-home use, but if, for some reason, I wanted/needed to carry such a device on trail, I'd be inclined to try one of the smaller and lighter versions of this device.

If you are using those small gas bottles, u need this.
Works just fine. Problem is that the instructions are all in Krink...(Korean). Not sure it's worth the extra $10.00 bucks for the model with the bleed off valve on the side. I get what it's for but it doesn't help anything, maybe if the instructions were in English if give'em 5 stars.I found out that refilling these butane/propane camping gas canisters (the 12oz ones u get at Wally Mart or elsewhere) requires freezing them in order to compress the fuel enough to get them back up to 12 oz.first time out of the icebox I only got about 5 oz of butane in it and had to freeze it a second time to get the rest of the gas in it. May require more than two freeze/fill cycles to fill up. It might help to use a small scale but u don't really need it. The empty canister is 5oz empty, The rest is all butane. Those tall skinny butane bottles are abt 8 to 8.8 oz so one just about fits into the other canister.

Awesome little gas saver
As others have mentioned, doesn't come with the adapter - just the transfer device. Works great! Seems to be pretty good quality. There are lots of videos on YouTube demonstrating how to use these devices and the purge valve which is a great feature that the cheaper ones do not have. I would recommend weighing your cans with an accurate scale to make sure you don't overfill them and if the transfer time is slow, look up cooling the intake can and warming the outtake can.

Never go out with two fuel canisters
A friend recommended this to me. You just pop your old canister into the freezer and let it get cold. Then screw this gas saver on to another fuel canister (I use the big ones that are far more economical than the little ones I use for backpacking), and then screw this onto your cold little one. Put the little one down with the big one on top and open the valve. Within a few minutes, your little canister is full and you are ready to go. So simple, such a money saver! This will pay for itself quickly!

Easy way to refill your small canisters.
This worked great to refill the empty small Jetboil canisters that I've been keeping around for some reason. I did research beforehand and followed the instructions (using google translate from Korean). Warmed up the full canister in the sun, froze the empty canister for 15 minutes, and filled it up in about 30 seconds. I was transferring from a Coleman 450g to a Jetboil 100g. My only difficulty was that I needed to screw the valve onto the large Coleman canister REALLY tight in order for it to transfer. I didn't have that issue with the Jetboil canister. Looking through other reviews, this seems common.Yes, it's a little expensive - but it is a solid, high quality tool that will save some money in the long run.

This is one tool that is NOT for everyone
Do not buy one of these unless you know what you are doing. G-Works is a great company and makes great, well machined tools like this. My 5-stars is for the quality of the part, not the ease of use. Find someone who know how to set them up and use them before you get into it. You can wind up working against yourself. You could move the fuel that you want in one canister into the wrong canister and just get mad at the system. Learn First.

Good Value But Possibly Dangerous?
This was overall very easy to use, but do remember that the temperatures have to be different and in specific positions for this to work its best magic. However, my one caveat is that while this saves money, while it refills cans in a more environmentally sustainable way so we're not throwing away three-quarters empty cans...They all specifically say DO NOT REFILL in capital letters... so I think this product's good... but maybe shouldn't be used. Said by the propane and gas canister warning labels...

Great product
Neat little unit. I assumed it was made in Japan, but it was Mfg in Korea. No big deal. No English instructions, I have no idea what lhe provided anguage was, but it's not really necessary. I tested on 2 MSR 227g net canisters, each containing roughly 20-25g of gas. I cooked the slighly more full one in the freezer for 15 min, while the lesser one sat near the wood stove. The transfer took a minute or 2, and end result was 10g remaining I the lighter canister, with the balance haveing transferred. I may try repeating the process, but that small amount of liquid could well be just trapped in the contours of the top of the can while upside down. Next is to try refilling with an adapter to refill with propane.

Overpriced, but bloody excellent
Probably the best gas saver on the market, reflected in the price
