Works like magic!
I've only had this for hours, but I already love it. We have a coonhound mix puppy who has done so well with training, but she howls like she's dying when she can't have something. Sometimes it is a piece of toast that got dropped on the floor, and sometimes it's because I won't let her chase children. She will lunge and lunge on the leash while howling and freaking out.I put this collar on somewhat loosely and set it to vibrate at level 20 (out of 100). I've used it a couple or times when she started howling today, saying "no" and hitting vibrate. She stopped howling immediately and went back to what she was doing before she decided to howl. I did test it on myself because I don't want to vibrate her too hard/scare her too much. I love that the vibration can be turned down so low! It works so well and is gentle. I'll be trying the beep next, beeping before the vibration so that later I can just beep it to get her to stop howling.Super happy with this so far!

good product
So I have this tiny little dog. His name is Havoc. Havoc is about 15-20 lbs of no fear, balls to the wall, little man syndrome Chihuahua in a house of three pitbulls. Havoc is the youngest, and smallest, but also the ruler of our house. Havoc very much lives up to his name, chew socks, bark like a crazy man, jumps onto the table to scrounge food, hide under furniture than mom is to fat to squeeze behind, all the while beating up his doggy siblings who are all 6 times bigger than him, and thinking that he listens to NO ONE! Well Havoc also happens to be very tough for a Chihuahua and smaller collars didn't seem to effect havoc at all, but I'm happy to say that this collar has been a god send. At first I started the shock portion of the collar out extremely low thinking this would hurt him, but havoc the eternal terror, didn't even flintch. 5, 10, 15.....I'm thinking I have a mutant dog....20, 25, 30.....ok my little dog surely got bit by a radioactive spider.....maybe it doesn't work? Mom decides to try it on herself...... ARGHHHH, THAT HURT, AND I WAS DUMB ENOUGH TO DO IT TO MYSELF, my eyes are watering and I'm trying to pretend to my laughing family that it didn't hurt that bad (but it did and my little dog is just the DEVIL).....we turn it up to 35, 40 (the strength his 50 lbs pitbull brother screams at) he's still eating sock and biting toes.....45.....Havoc stops humping his brother looks at me, and I swear to God for the first time in months he finally LAYS down. I have come to two conclusions in life.....1. My Chihuahua has super strength.2. Everyone needs one of these collars in their lives.

This collar is doing the impossible!
I have an American Pitbull Terrier. I picked him up when he was 4-months old from a no-kill shelter. I have had many dogs over the years and training is normally a cinch. It takes some time, patience, and repetition to train a dog. However, this one is so stubborn, my patience is at its end! I have tried another shock collar before on him, and it started to work. The problem was that it fell apart rather quickly. This collar has been the solution so far! Unlike my last collar that either gave an audible warning or shocked, this one does the same with the added feature of having a vibration mode. What that means for me is that I can give a command to my dog. If it doesn’t work, I will press the audible button. If that doesn’t work, I’ll press the vibration button. Lastly, he’ll get a mild shock (so far, out of 100, I have only gone up to 005). Also, I keep the stimulation mode to minimum. That does the trick! I may have to shock him two, maybe three times and he complies! If he starts to stray, then just the vibration is enough to steer him back to compliance. Finally, I have something that consistently overrides his stubbornness! After using the collar for only a few days, I now put the collar on him, and he knows what it is about. I don’t have to shock him at all. If he is persistent, then a quick beep from the collar is all it takes to gain compliance. So far, I am loving this collar and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Very good
I calibrated it and put it on my dog (who loved to go outside without a leash and attempt to run away if given the chance) and let him go. Once he got a house down the street I shocked him. After given the warning settings of course. Now when I offer for him to go outside he refuses to without a leash

WOW
This actually fits and works PERFECT on my 7lbs dachshund... I ONLY USE THE BELL (beep) on level 3 & IF ABSOLUTELY FORCED TO.... THE VIBRATE BUTTON on level 1This product REALLY packs a PUNCH for dogs larger than 7lbs on the SHOCK BUTTON - tested it myself on level 1.... I won’t make that mistake againDefinitely recommend this product BUT DO NOT USE SHOCK FOR PUPPIES OR DOGs UNDER 15lbs... REALLY TRY NOT TO USE SHOCK ONLY AS A SERIOUSLY LAST LIFE OR DEATH RESORT

The Remote makes the difference
I had purchased and returned a different model that did not have the remote control, it was bark activated. Needless to say it didn't work. With this model you can hit one of 3 buttons, a shock, a vibrate and a beep. Now the beep doesn't seem that loud to me but since so close to his ears it gets his attention. I recommend this collar highly.

Overall works well
Overall the device works well The only issue I’ve had is remembering that the remote has to be “turned on” each time before you can use the alerts (sound, vibration, or shock). Otherwise it is a great device for the price

Ok
Love that it's 2 collars with one remote. Only received one black collar which was fine because I had another collar lying around from a prior shock collar. One of the shock component plastic collar holders broke within a couple months with using it only a few times a week.
