I love the concept of an easier to use TENS Unit that is compact and has multiple attachment heads, but this item has severe flaws to it.One, it feels cheaply made. Basically it feels plastic or whatever the equivalent is for conductive material. This is felt right out of the box. Even the buttons feel flimsy.Second, and more importantly, the item has no insulator material on the handle. This means that any level of 4 and beyond sends pulses through the hand holding the item; the higher the level, the more severe the pulse. This is quite uncomfortable and could've been avoided with a little more investment into the product. A proper handle coating or material would've saved this product.It seems that there are a lot of similar items on Amazon with duplicate issues. For the time being, I'd suggest a regular TENS Unit. For now, I can't even use this item on the proper level for more than 20 seconds.

I received a used Rechargeable Energy Acupuncture Pen. I open the package and clearly see finger prints and scuff marks on the handle, attachable heads and even inside the box. 1 star for sending me a use item. Unfortunately can't rate the product itself.Update:I receive a replacement- I LOVE IT. Light weight, easy to use.

I'll keep it easy.I was disappointed with this product because it feels like I'm getting shocked right from the 110 wall socket.It hurt worse to use it than the pain I was trying to stop.Sorry to have to give a bad review.

I was really hopeful for this product. I charged it and when I was ready to use it there was nothing no action no vibration nothing except the lights there’s a number indicator light which lit up. Now I’m trying to contact the seller personally rather than going through Amazon and I am having trouble finding a contact point for them.

I ordered one, and used it for a few minutes right when I got it. I then went to plug in the charger, and the port for the cable just fell inside the device, rattling around.I got a replacement... it worked, it charged, then it never turned back on. I tried to initiate a return, but there was some BS about me having to physically mail it to Amazon.... even though on the return page it states that you should NOT return anything which contains a lithium ion battery. Now I'm getting emails saying they are going to charge me for not sending it back. (BTW, with the first one, I checked and a customer service agent told me to NOT send it back)It's literally a piece of garbage.

This product is used. Already had finger prints on it. Terrible engineering. The freaking handle shocks you. I could deal with it by adding some type of insulation on the handle but the fact someone has been using it already pisses me off. Attachments were all over the place in the box.

I was visiting with a friend that had this and couldn't believe the relief I had after using it for 10-15 minutes. The pain relief continued through the day and for the next 36 hours so I ordered one! I've had severe carpal tunnel in my left hand, experience almost continual pain &/or numbness thought the day and wear a wrist brace when I sleep at night. I use it every other day or so and it's continued to help reduce or eliminate the pain I've had for years. I also use this on my lower back, bottoms of my feet and any other areas that I experience pain. If I do not use this for more than two days, the pain does come back and it's my reminder to take the time to use it! If you have someone use this on you, the slight stinging sensation is less than if you do this to yourself. I use this on myself so I start at a low number and work my way up, if needed. The longer you use it in a session the more accustomed to the poking sensation you become. I have worked from 1-2 range to the 7-9 range in one session. And not all sessions are the same. I've noticed different times of day I'm more sensitive to the stinging so I use a lower frequency when that happens and it still works. If I have a long session 15-20min+ I will drink extra water since I do believe this helps eliminate toxins from your body.The quality of the pen itself is definitely not great but for about $20 this is extremely affordable and works so I would still purchase this again if needed, as well as recommend it to others. I've had it for about 2-3 weeks and still use it frequently because it works!

Everyone is different, but we all hate pain. I bought this because acupuncture worked wonders for me, but my insurance doesn't cover it & an emergency stopped the pain treatment I was getting. Frankly, I was desperate.I have ruptured disks in my neck & back (hit by a drunk driver) fibromyalgia & cluster headaches. My neurologist was injecting me with 18-25 cortisone shots every 8 weeks. All of that cortisone brought on diabetes. No more shots & the infusion treatments I got for cluster headaches also had to stop.When I got this, I liked the feeling that I was in control of my pain. Instead of painful needles in my neck, I got a pleasant nerve stimulation & relief. But I was still skeptical. Maybe something else was helping the pain?Then I loaned it to a friend for her to try & she lost it. I bought this one within an hour. When I knew I couldn't be without it, is when I realized that this was really working for me.This pen model gives less hand buzz than the first one from this maker. I don't usually use a higher setting than 3. And I did overdo it one time & used it longer than suggested & I had pretty sore shoulder muscles, so be please careful.Is this safe for people with pacemakers or defibrillators? I don't know. PLEASE ask your doctor.When you have chronic pain or illness, you know you get lots of advice from people who may mean well, but it can be hurtful or feel dismissive. Such as "You just need to exercise." or "Have you tried yoga?"So, I won't give advice. This little pen has been a blessing for my pain. And I wish you all the best.
