Amazing! Perfect for wonky Victorian doors
This is exactly what I've been looking for for our super wonky bathroom door - there were slanting gaps at the top and bottom of over 1.5cm at the widest point. Not anymore!I measured the door thickness and ordered the 35mm strips, which were perfect - I saw other reviewers had issues with them splintering when cut, so I marked my cut line in situ on the door, took them off, & wrapped the strips in masking tape over the lines to stop them splintering - I also put some rolled up cardboard inside the strips so they held their shape whilst cutting. I cut them to size with a Japanese wood saw as it's all I had, then sanded the ends a bit - it took minutes and I had no problems at all with breakage. They won't work if your floor slopes upwards as the door opens, as it will push the strip back up the door, but luckily mine slopes down. To handle the uneven angles at the top & bottom of the door, I stuck some felt furniture feet inside the strips to the correct height where the gap was widest, and used a few more in decreasing thickness to support the strip all the way across. They've worked like an absolute charm, and they'll definitely minimise the noise & heat loss (and unpleasant bathroom related aromas!) that we've been plagued with since moving in. And they're renter friendly!1000% recommend!

Does the job
These are really easy to cut and fit. They do the job and they look nice ( no fiddly screws) they just slide on very easily.

Three Stars
It is easy to fit, but will not adjust to uneven flooring. Good if gap is level throughout.

Closed gaps at top and bottom of door
I brought this product because I have a poorly fitted bedroom door. Not only does it allow light and sound in, it has also recently let mice in 😱I didn't want to buy a new door because that's expensive, but something had to be done so I tired this. The gap beneath my door is wide enough to fit my fingers in, but not all the way across, so I needed something dynamic that would be deeper at one end of the door than the other. Also my bedroom is carpeted so I didn't want a brush excluder, I wanted something that would slide over the carpet. There is also a gap at the top of the door that lets light in, so I purchased a second one to see if it would also work on the top of the door to close the gap between the top of the door and the door frame. This has done the job brilliantly! I read the reviews first and was a bit dubious especially about cutting it to size, but I measured the door first to make sure I was getting the right size.I did have to cut it a bit shorter which is what I was worried about after reading reviews but I ended up doing this with no problem, here are some tips for cutting it shorter:* There's no point using a Stanley knife I have a brand new one that's sharp as anything and it didn't help.* I used a junior hacksaw and this worked perfectly* when you've drawn a line to indicate where you want to cut, put a line of masking tape over it before you cut (if you use the cheap yellow stuff you'll see the line you've drawn through it) leave the tape on when you cut and this will provide a tiny bit more integrity but will also give you a much cleaner cut line* Be gentle, it isn't flimsy as such, but it is essentially thin plastic so if you put all your strength on it then it probably will snap* start cutting at one of the two corners and work your way down* when you get to the edges that aren't corners go slowly and support the plastic either side by pinching it with your fingers. If it's going to snap or split this is probably the part of the strip that's most likely to do so, therefore supporting the plastic reduces the chances of splitting* once you've finished cutting a couple of passes with fine grit sand paper will make the edges look tidy but isn't really necessary I'm just a bit extra like that!So all in all it took me about 10 min to install both strips, I had no issues cutting either one. It did close the gap at the top and the bottom of the door while also allowing the door to open and close freely. It has blocked the light that was coming in, and I no longer have to shove a towel under my door to stop mice! For all that I would say well worth the money!
