Works with video pass through and 4K
We had a 10 year old hdmi to cat5 extender that was behaving intermittently and causing the picture to blink on our TV. The electrician actually figures that out... we thought it was a ground issue or something like that but the electrician traced it back to the old cat5 to HDMI.In any case, we replaced it with this unit and now the TV operates flawlessly. We have the signal of our cable box, DVD player, and fire stick all going into an Onkyo receiver and then out through HDMI to the cat5 extender to about 55’ of cat5 to the other cat5 to hdmi extender to a new 4K Samsung qled tv. Works perfect!!

Works most of the time, but not all
Constantly going off and coming back on using Cat5e cable. Doesn't keep a constant signal. Running aprox 65ft.
