Perfect Size
I was looking to replace my last journal and had a hard time finding one this size. I wish the pen loop was included, otherwise it is perfect. It says one can be added and even shows how, but it was not included.

It molds to the curve of my hind parts. 😊
I keep on of these in my back pocket as my "memory book" with a constantly updated todo list and odd thoughts during the day. They hold up better than the moleskin version that would sometimes split before I filled the pages.

Good quality
Good quality journal, looks very nice. A bit smaller than I thought it would be but still a great item!

couldn't ask for a better notebook.
Everything is so well thought out on Leuchtturm's products, couldn't ask for a better notebook.

Not really fountain pen friendly
I have a lot of small, pocket Moleskines and they are really not that good for fountain pens. A lot of ghosting in those. So, looking around the Internet, a lot of people recommend Leuchtturm 1917 as an option. Got me this pocket notebook to have something I can carry with me easily and write into with a fountain pen.Alas, it was not to be. The notebook ghosts like crazy, I think it is even a bit worse than the Moleskines I have. I even tried some ballpoint pens and that is also ghosting. Sad really, it is very cute and looks well made in binding.

Ice Blue Pocket Notebook has DARK Squares
I ordered the Ice Blue (Product # 357476) one. It has 187 pages, 12 perforated sheets and dark printed squares. At the same time I ordered from a different Amazon product page LEUCHTTURM1917 Hard Cover Small (A6) Pocket Notebook, Sand, Squared the Sand (Product # 354589) one. It has 185 pages, 8 perforated sheets and light print squares. The light squares are important to me as I need them just as a guide and do not want them dominate my notes and sketches. There is nothing in the descriptions of the Leuchtturm pocket (A6) notebooks (anywhere on the internet so far, that I have found) that indicates a difference in the darkness of the printing of the squares. I therefore presume you need to make sure you are buying the pocket notebook with 185 pages, and 8 perforated sheets. The problem with the description of the Ice Blue one on this product page is that it says it has 185 pages - but that's incorrect, and apparently that is a critical error if you're looking for light printed squares.

Warning: I really can't think of any pen this notebook would work for
Notebook itself is gorgeous, sturdy, etc. The paper leaves a lot to be desired. Photos given show how thin/practically see through the paper is: in the first one, you can see the page behind the table of contents page clearly, and even some of the writing on the second page behind. The second shows the back after I tested a few pens:Uniball Signo 0.38mmUniball Eco 0.5mmSakura Micron 0.1mmStaedter Fineliner (not even in black - in light gray) 0.5mmThe least see-through line is actually pencil (Zebra M301 0.5mm), but as you can see, even pencil lowkey shows through. The selection of pens above include archival ink, waterproof ink, ballpoint, rollerball, nonblack ink... the Uniball Eco rarely even bleeds through random loose-leaf. So unless you intend on writing on every other page or only write in pencil, this notebook is a hard pass.

Best pocket note book you can buy. Way ahead of competition!!!!
I can't fault this notebook. Here's a list of features I found particularly impressive:1. Paper quality - 80gsm yet ink proof so no annoying bleeding onto other side of page, and silky smooth to the touch. Perfect for fountain pen users!2. Rigidity - it feels tough and rugged, as it should for something you intend to repeatedly slide in and out of your pocket, and yet feels nice to the touch, almost like leather. It also has a thread bound spine, and reminds me of a hardback book in this respect.3. Size - not too big and not too small. I've had tiny note books which are too difficult to hold in one hand and write with the other. But it isn't too large as to not fit comfortably in your pocket (although it can be a little bit of a stretch depending on the clothing).4. Layout and personal touches - it has a contents section at the beginning so you can easily organise different types of notes into different sections, with page numbers as a reference. So far I have categorised three sections; to - do list, things to research, and general thoughts/calculations etc. Of course, it's a little tricky knowing how much space to allocate to each section, but I don't think that matters. They also include labels you can attach to the front and spine of the notebook to further categorise your notes.5. All of the above for a little of £10?!?!? Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!

Oozes quality
I combined mine with a pen loop. I find the A6 size makes it far more practical to have with me all the time. Useful contents section and page numbering.

Fantastica
Nulla da invidiare a nessuno. Fedele compagna di viaggio e soprattutto di lavoro. Carta di ottima qualità, finiture top. Ne ricomprerò un'altra.

Buon acquisto
Meno pagine di un Moleskine, carta di qualità migliore e due segnalibri. Se la copertina fosse più flessibile sarebbe perfetto.
