Probably better as a deterrent than an actual full CCTV option.
Very easy to set up. Picture quality is good. Motion detection is slow. It often picks up a few seconds after movement has happened so you miss the person/car as it's already gone past. It also has a few seconds delay on notification. Recording duration is also limited to a few seconds (unless I can't find the settings). I didn't want the hassle of wiring in the camera so I went for the solar option.

Yeskamo Solar Powered Security Camera System Review
I needed to add cameras to my home security setup and after a morning’s online research decided that the Yeskamo Solar Powered Security Camera System met my needs. To this end I purchased three items. My selection criteria included: -• Wireless connectivity (No drilling through walls)• Solar powered (Again, avoiding the need to drill holes)• Unobtrusive, compact form combined with good aesthetics• Operational day or night• Good image quality• Affordable• ReliableUpon receipt from Amazon’s virtually always efficient delivery system, my first impressions were positive. Unboxing the cameras showed them to be well-built and weighty items laid out logically in stout cardboard boxes. The general finish and appearance were very good for all items: - solar panels, cameras and respective mounting arms.In terms of installation, it is probably easiest to download and install the Cloudedge App first and then add the camera devices to your phone before affixing them to walls. This is because the process involves each camera having to read a QR code from your smartphone’s screen. It is also necessary to fully charge the cameras before installation too. This takes 8 hours. The instructions whilst detailed are slightly inaccurate in that they refer to a Verification Code which as far as I can see doesn’t exist. I’d also suggest to Yeskamo that they might usefully reauthor these instructions by a person whose first language is English. Nevertheless, anyone who has a nominal level of technical competence will experience few difficulties. Each camera and solar panel are clamped to individual short-diecast arms via ball joints. The arms in turn screw to the wall. Screws and rawlplugs are provided, which are of average quality. One tip which others may find useful is that I found it best to mount south facing cameras close underneath my property’s facia boards in order to avoid glare from the sun.One ball and socket joint for a solar panel was faulty unfortunately and wouldn’t lock and so I had to add a washer as a shim to correct this. As only one joint was affected, I’ll put this down to bad luck. The locking systems are otherwise acceptable given the price point.Although no fault of the manufacturer I needed to purchase a wi-fi booster for my setup as one camera didn’t have a strong enough signal and initially wouldn’t work. Also, potential buyers should be made aware they must buy micro SD cards if they want their cameras to record motion. Likewise, it is essential to own a smartphone as this provides the system’s interface. In operation and using the supplied App the system generally works well. Images are clear and bright with a wide (130 degree) angle of view and Cloudedge is easy to navigate. It is via this App that adjustments are made to the cameras and thus far the software works well with few crashes. The system has only been installed at my home for about two days, but the main negative for me is that the Motion Detection System is a little bit hit and miss. Sometimes there are false alerts (possibly caused by insects) and occasionally people who approach a camera are not detected if they are walking swiftly.Adjusting camera sensitively via Cloudedge improves this to a certain extent. Overall, this aspect of performance is good enough.Aesthetically, the installations are neat and unobtrusive. I also like the way infrared sensors glow a dull red when you approach a camera at night. Hopefully this may put an intruder off before they consider entering your property. Night vision is acceptable too, albeit with limited range. At a price of £88 each (with discount) Yeskamo Solar Powered Security Cameras represent a worthwhile, easy to setup and effective home security solution. I cannot comment on reliability but provided the cameras last and if the battery reserves and solar panels are sufficient during winter, I feel they easily deserve recommendation.Regarding a star rating, I would knock off quarter of a star off because the “average” body detection capability. As this is not possible, a five-star review is appropriate.Well done Yeskamo! Good job!

Wireless Battery/Solar powered CCTV YASKOMO Camera
Initial set up with wifi online app to view camera was relatively straight forward from instructions given and the app for the camera gives lots of intuitive settings to mess with. After 4 days of using the camera the battery remains still charged and the solar panel definitely works to strengthen the battery in one sunny afternoon. The battery life bars on the Live view screen gives 4-5 bars of strength which when first set up was around 3bars. With a sunny afternoon the camera was then fully charged with 5 bars. If and when you need to charge the battery manually the camera comes with a usb lead to connect to mains to charge. You have the option via your phone to press manual record for how ever long your phone can stay connected, or just take snapshots or let the camera automatically take it's own recording with alert (15-25sec). This camera will send alerts 5-10secs after recording something. Of course Live view is great if you are out and about or somewhere in the house away from the recording area to view. Set up at front of property at just head height, viewing small frontage and cars parked on the road 15ft away. This camera gives excellent wide coverage of view, either in Standard definition or Hd resolution to record. It is very clear viewing and being on your phone you can enlarge the areas you want to look at. Night vision is not bad at all 10ft away but further away you will struggle unless properly lighted. At night when it rains, it obscures and renders this camera a bit useless, so advisable to put it somewhere undercover, where rain can not obscure the picture so badly that is pointless. It is PIR sensored to pick up heat rather than motion of trees swaying etc. Although it will initially pick up every human movement within 10-12ft away from camera, it picks up every car/van / lorry that comes down the road some 20-25ft away to the left of the camera viewing angle. It has picked up human movement at nearly 20ft away also. Once it has recorded and sent the alert, you can either view the instant snapshot or view the entire recording. Easy to delete files also. Anything you record manually will be stored in separate file for you. All in all I would recommend this type of camera to be set up in close proximity to whatever you want to be kept safe at the front (driveway) or rear, near back doors and windows. It will save on the wiring being solar/battery and also lots of the alerts. If like me, you want to keep an eye on the cars 15ft away on the road also, best to have wired 24/7 NVR setup. This will definitely be used to the back of the property with the very wide angle lens and more solar accessibility. Hope this helps.

Not so good
Camera cames without plastic protection. Camera cames scratched on the lens. Long delay to show video in color when you turn on the light. Ammost 1 - 2 minutes.I did not try the solar power and the battery duration yet.

Decent camera for the money
This was a replacement as the solar panel on the last one broke. I have two others. The quality for the money is OK. Ease of use good. Instructions written in Chin-glish and not that easy TBH. I do resent being 'encouraged' to write a review by Yeskamo in order to 'qualify' for the extra year warranty and cloud storage... I'm not sure Amazon would approve either...

Exactly what I had hoped for
It's been installed for a month now monitoring my garden office, and works just fine. The solar panel is supplied with a nice long cable of about 5m so you can position it efficiently away from the camera, and it keeps the battery charged even in UK winter conditions. A rubber cover protects it somewhat from the weather (mine is fully in the elements). Put the PIR motion detector to low sensitivity and toggle the human-only button and it works fine for picking up people but not foxes. Control from your smartphone, even when away from home, no cloud subscription needed cos video is stored on the microSD card. All in all, exactly what I hoped for.
