The Intrepid International Horse Training Lunge whip arrived quickly. I use it by tying on a cotton rope toy for my active Sheltie to chase as a lure to help keep him happy, exercised, and fulfilled. It is great: sturdy yet flexible; nice studded easy-grip long handle; lightweight. I can simply circle it above my head as he wheels around me, so I don't get dizzy lol; zigzag it on the lawn in front of me; etc. He LOVES it and is so focused on it when we are outside. Also use it as obedience by telling him to 'leave it,' back up, and then sit/stay or down/stay while I move the toy around. Then I release him to go at it again. His favorite game. Highly recommended.

Great for playing with my Dogs.
We use these for our dogs to run, chase, jump around and tug with, they love it! It’s time playing with Mom and especially on days they seem to have more energy than usual, this definitly tires them out and tired dogs are good dogs. It’s also good for teaching drop it and a handful of other commands like wait, etc. Eventually they break them, as they get shorter we bring them inside over the winter for the same reason. but as they aren’t meant for games of tug of war we are happy to buy a new one, usually each spring when we need the longer one again.

I use this as a dog flirt pole tool.
I have a high prey drive bully mix. After reading about the use of flirt poles I got this one and it has been valuable in helping to curb her intensity. It is well made and long enough to use in a large area. A repurpose but it fits the need.Well made. Do not get into a tug war with it, you will lose and it could be damaged. supervise your dog always, not for chewing.

Flirt pole for dogs
Depending upon what a dog prefers, I tie a toy, fake fur, or a thick piece of fleece to it. I foster dogs and this is great to use with dogs that need to run off energy yet this is more than just an exercise tool. It's useful to teach impulse control, they aren't allowed to chase it until I say the cue "break", and they must release when cued. I've been using it for more than a year.

This is a decent lunge whip, but the popper on the end doesn't work.

Dog loves it
I bought this for my dog to play with. I use it as a flirt pole. My dog is a border collie Australian Shepherd and he goes crazy for the web. He does chew on it so he’s already kind a messed it up but I just tape it back together with electrical tape
