RSSP Women's Ladies Bronze Tone Owl Hunter Case Floral Necklace Pocket Watch

Being an owl-item collector, I ordered the Rosallini Ladies Owl watch pendant on a whim, with fairly low expectations... given the extraordinary price. My little package arrived about a week earlier than expected via International post. Upon opening and examining the watch-pendant was I ever surprised ...and VERY pleasantly so!The product is made very well. The cast-impression design is ornate, deep and even, both front and back. The "antiquing" is done well, with no colour-lift at all when the product was cleaned.The timepiece is easy to read and is very accurate (over a week - not a minute off!).My only qualm is the orientation of the clock. Being a pendant-watch worn about the neck, the clock-face should be turned 180 degrees, so that it is facing the wearer, for easier reading when inquiring about the time.The approx. diameter equivalent of a U.S. quarter coin (see my customer photo), its sized perfectly for a lady. The weight is very comfortable... not too heavy, but with just enough heft to hang nicely.The accompanying chain, with a lobster-claw clasp, and at 30", is the perfect length to provide for a good balanced-look. I recommend an initial cleaning (of the chain ONLY) --with a quick dip in a jewelry cleaner -or- washing w/mild dish soap and warm water & pat dry-- prior to wearing though, to avoid any discolouration transferring to one's neck.Setting the time is easily achieved by pulling the crown ring up, then turning the crown to the proper time. Pressing the crown down causes the pendant face to pop-open so that the time may be read.I am very impressed and satisfied with this item. This watch is so pretty and detailed and a very nice color. Both the front side and back side are such a fun design that I'm still deciding what side is my favorite. The inside of the cover was also pretty, with lots of swirls. The clock itself is pretty and it works well. It is also very easy to change the time. The chain is long, which is very nice, but the watch itself was tiny!! I wanted to use it as a pocket watch, not a small necklace!! I would have given it a 5-star if it weren't the size of a quarter.

This is by far my favorite piece of jewelry that i own hands down! Every time I wear this necklace I get complements about it. The detail on it is fantastic! The ONLY problem I have which to many would be the biggest issue. Is that when I open the clasp to look at the time... the clock didn't work at all I tried to move the turner to put the right time on it but it didn't work at all !!! I plan on taking it to a person who fixes clocks and watches to see if they can open it up and fix it. The reason I bought it though was for the look of it and I love it. It's a lot heavier than i thought it would be and the chain for it is long so you can adjust how long or short you want it. Overall, I'd have to say besides the clock not working I love everything about it.

This was a penny item and I got what I paid for. The item was very tiny but was very pretty and ornate that I did like alot. Battery died on day two though. Bummer, couldn't even give it away to a child or young teen. I am not upset just very disappointed and would not recommend this product to any adults due to size. Would not recommend period due to like span of battery.

I love owls and thought this would be a nice watch to have, and it was inexpensive, when i received it, i loved it although it was small but the watch doesnt work... is it supposed to be a working watch?? i dont understand how it got here broken, and theres nothing i can do about it. Definitely not worth it.

Just received this in the mail only a week after I placed the order. Very sturdy feeling, nice long chain, and I think will be very useful for traveling when cell phones don't work, and I don't want to wear a watch. The only con so far is that it was ticking away when I opened the package, and I'm assuming the battery will run out soon.For those of you who are confused on how to set the time, you have to pull out the knob on the top of the watch where the chain connects, then twist the dial. Press back in to start the time again. I was really confused (since the watch comes with no packaging except a plastic bag), but looked at another version of this kind of watch on Amazon, and saw those directions. Hope this helps other mechanically intuitively-challenged people ;)

I received my order today (A good two weeks before the estimated delivery date!), in a plastic bag wrap with the necklace sealed in bubble wrap. Nothing was broken and the chain seems sturdy enough. It's a bit bigger than a quarter, and has an ornate looking flower-y design on the back if you don't want to wear the owl sometimes.The pendant opens alright, I have to push fairly hard on the top but it's definitely not impossible. The time was very simple to set, you just pull on the knob at the top and turn it, like any traditional watch, then push it back down when it's in the right place. I'm pleased by the style of the watch face, it looks beautiful, and like it costs a lot more than I paid! I think I may have to keep this in mind as a gift option in the future :)

I have not even worn this once, the clock stopped working within a couple of days. The metal is cheap and smells funny. It is super cute and if you do not care about the clock stopping or smell then this a great for you because it is really inexpensive. I could careless about the clock however I can not get past the sent.
