Russell Hobbs 24180 Chalkboard Slow Cooker, 3. 5 L, Black

I was looking for a budget friendly crockpot for indian voltage and this turned out to be perfect for last 2 days. The slow cooker has a good design, takes less space , cooks well and best of all works on Indian voltage without any converters. The pin is UK pin which also worked as the earlier crockpot had the same pin. Also the delivery was much faster compared to other products. So far it has worked well for 2 days now. Will confirm if any more changes in a month.

L'ho acquistata un anno fa ed inizialmente sono stata molto entusiasta di questa pentola, l'ho usata per diverse cotture, carne, legumi, verdura, polenta, sempre con ottimi risultati. L'ho voluta usare dopo qualche mese, ahimè all'interno della parte che dovrebbe essere in acciaio inossidabile ci sono delle macchie nere con punti di ruggine, nonostante l'avessi pulita attentamente dopo ogni utilizzo e tenuta nella propria scatola originale.Ottima assistenza Amazon che mi ha permesso di restituire e avere il rimborso. Sono molto delusa perché è l'ennesimo prodotto Russell Hobbs che compro e non ho mai avuto dei problemi di questo genere. Che peccato!

I am glad I bought this. On the cooking front, it does the job for 1 - 3 people. You would struggle to get a whole chicken in it depending on size but we personally needed a smaller one. It is compact and fits nicely on a work surface. But the highlight of the product is: the chalk board style novelty surface. This has proved particularly useful. Not for writing food stuff on but for asking my partner to wash up, feed the cats and a whole host of stuff. I can nag him every day without saying anything. He responds with the occasional chalked swear word. Genius and fun! 😁

Been using it to cook so many dishes, just put everything in, turn on the knob and wait for home-made meals. Just learn how to cook different dishes and you will save so much on takeout.

I spent a lot of time looking at slow cookers as I don't have the room or need for a large one, so settled in this. Good shape if space is an issue, easy to operate, when I was reading the views and description it said big enough for a family of 4, which is true if they eat small portions, more suitable for 2/3. My only grip which was mentioned by a reviewer is the lid rattles if you cook on high and steam and hot water spits out. !! I put a heavy plate on top of the lid to stop it and no I didn't have it filled to the top, it was about halfway. Cost I thought reasonable for it size.
