Great product but make sure you change @ 6k. No matter what to not void your car warranty. They are great but not worth any headaches

I like to keep one of these on hand so once I’m done with the oil change I order one to have for the next oil change. It works wells and I like the grip to help remove. Good price shipped to my door step, can’t beat that!

Filter did a great job filtering, it wasn’t stated anywhere I could find but I believe this only for carburetor applications (low pressure), in my fuel injected car (36psi) the plastic expanded after just 2 days.

Bought for 2010 Chrysler 300c SRT8 I’ve internally inspected, Fram Ultra filters before, and it consists of quality Media, Drain and bypass valve with 25 micron filtration. The friction grip on these filters is nice. I can remove them by hand. However, using 5w-40, And at a 65 degree F. startup, pushes 72-75 lbs oil pressure. I suspect at that high pressure, the oil is utilizing the “filter” bypass valve and is not, initially, being filtered until oil pressure falls to around 60-65lbs. Vehicle manual calls for a “Full Flow” filter, and this might be why!? For others that equate and balance, the correct maintenance for their vehicle, Filtration and Flow, are trade-off variables. Since I use neodymium, high temp magnets, on all my oil filters anyway, I’m considering stepping down to a middle of the road, oil filter with better Flow and a slight decrease in filtration. Doing so, I will save a few bucks, and gain additional protection at startup. I wish I could hear what others thought about the topic. The summary is; I have used Fram filters for a few decades now, and have gotten over 250,000 miles on a vehicle without having any oil leaks or mechanical issues when oil changes are appropriately and timely completed. That statement is, probably; the Ultimate evidence!

En lo personal, he comprado de distintas marcas incluyendo el Original pero me acomode más con esta Marca y sinceramente me siento muy satisfecho. No llego ni a los 10000 Kms para otro cambio pero prefiero asegurar que arriesgar y el aceite esta en TIEMPO Y FORMA pq igual le meto Castrol Sintético 5w30 a una Explorer 4.0 Litros de 6 Cilindros 2004. Ya han pasado 20 años y se le ha hecho un medio ajuste al motor y estoy conforme con ello. Ampliamente recomiendo este Fram con un Aceite de Buena Calidad para que juntos hagan buen equipo con un filtro de aire igual de calidad
