The engaging plot was developed & progressed at just the right rate, drawing you in so subtly without you even noticing, that it's progression feels believably genuine & possible.

Delightful story, excellently told! For me this was pure escapism, much like on-line poker! And yet...and yet, I found myself invested in the outcome of the two protagonists because Stark pulls you right into the game, and you find yourself playing hand after hand! And the good news? You leave a winner. I like the way Stark writes, combining just the right amount of information about the careers of our heroines with credible and engaging dialog, pacing and action. This sexy little slice of Las Vegas Romance is smart, engaging and perfect for the get-away weekend without actually having to board a plane, endure sleep deprivation and break the bank.

I really loved this book. This was my first Nell Stark book. It will definitely not be my last. The story was a breath of fresh air. Would definitely recommend.

I am a fan of Nell Stark so take this review as you may. I loved the Las Vegas spin and the story was quite involved. I really enjoyed this novel and recommend it. If you love to gamble then this is the novel for you. If you don't like to gamble, I still recommend it as it is a good story. I do not often offer five stars but this story worked for me. I highly recommend it.

What a joy it was to read a Lesbian novel that is so well-written! The details don't bog down the storyline, the characters are personable and easy to relate to while the dialogue is believable and enjoyable; none of the trite stuff I've been subjected to in other novels. Read this book, you'll learn a lot and have a good time while you're at it.

Nell Stark did it again. She created characters and a story that kept me enthralled. I didn't want to stop reading and when I did get to the end, it left me with a smile on my face. I recommend this and any of Nell Stark's works to anyone interested in reading a damn fine book.

Good plot

Loved the story. Even though I hate cards and Vegas, Nell makes it seem like a great idea. Would have liked to know even more of the characters stories, the book ended far too soon!

A sweet story set in unusual circumstances: although I find Nell Stark is often repeating the same pattern in different surroundings in her books, I highly appreciate her sense for details and the credibility this creates.
