provides nice support - wrist protection
I like these because they are pretty substantial, tighten down well, and also have the plastic armor/skid plate on the palm. I haven't taken a big fall - but these are the 2nd wrist guards I've owned, and these are far superior to the very insubstantial ones I had before. My hands are generally a men's medium for gloves, and I opted for a size up (L) on these for two reasons. Products like this often come small (these are probably about true to size imo), but mainly to fit over gloves, which they do. I'm wearing pretty medium grade leather gloves under them, and it all works out with a degree of comfort. Using for my EUC.

Perfect fit. Protects palms to perfection

much better hand protection than ordinary wrist guards
i like the hard material covering my entire palm and wrist and a couple of inches up my arm. it gives a very secure feeling. i'm not about to deliberately fall to test these, but i'm sure that they'd do the job of saving my wrists just fine.

Good fit and compact!
These are a lot better than most. Tried 2 other brands/styles... some too bulky and heavy but these seem to be just right. Much more heavy duty (contoured) plastic covering palm area (not metal bar). And they seem to be compact and easier to slip on and off. I'm happy with these and hope I never have to "test" them.

Not the best
I didn’t like this product, it is fairly uncomfortable. My issue is that if I fall I will not be able to extend my hands and land on the palms of my hands because of how this is made. It’s okay quality but bad execution. I don’t recommend this!

Better quality than most. Hard to wear watch with them
I’ve tried a couple of brands of these on amazon and these prob best most of them out in quality and protection. I wouldn’t trust them to be perfect in a really bad fall but they will certainly protect better then most the others online. The fabric is designed in a way that seems like it will last. Overall the best I have tried so far. Ps keep in mind if you like to wear a fitness watch it may not fit properly with these on. I gave to take my watch off.

Not made well
Bought these on February 2nd. I am an older skater (not hard core thrasher) and used these 3 times. It is May now.The protective plastic separated from the palm. There is only a small amount of thin stitching holding the plastic piece on. as it is not integrated into the strap. As you can seen from the palm plastic, there has not been a lot of wear. These could not hold up if there is any real wear if they broke from my limited use. I would recommend a better, well built brand.
