SNUG Fasteners 100 Qty #6 x 5/8" Truss 304 Stainless Phillips Head Wood Screws (SNG100)

This product was used to hang shelf sliders for my cabinets. I even predrilled the holes with a #6 tapered bit. 5 of the first six screws sheared off. I will never order these again from this vendor.

This is a box of 100 wood screws. The box actually contained 100 screws, so I'd say the product description is accurate. They are indeed 5/8" long. They are stainless steel, which resists corrosion and is the best type of screen for outdoor use. They are Phillips head screw with a truss head which means that the top of the screw sits slightly rounded above whatever you screw it into. They are well made. There are no extraneous burrs or globs, the threads are even. They drill easily into wood (particularly with a pilot hole) and I've had no issues with screws stripping or screw heads breaking off. The box is a bit large, but it reseals tightly.

I bought a variety of different sizes I normally have a use for so that, once and for all, I'd have enough of them in one spot when I need them. These screws fit the bill. The quality checks out: I tried using excessive force to strip the slots but they held up very well. I'm satisfied these are good screws. Part of the reason for my positive review also is the fact I bought them online. In the past, I'd head down to the local big box store and spend quite a bit of time looking for the sizes and quantities needed. I found it pretty fast and effective to simply click off a number of sizes and buy them online. The only ding I'd give them is they all came is plastic boxes that were way too big for the quantity and they were delivered via several individual shipments. Lots of shipping and packing waste. Perhaps in the future they'll come up with a better way to ship them when you make multiple choices?

I’m familiar with the SNUG brand, as I’ve ordered other screws from them before.Definitely a fan of the product itself.It arrived exactly as expected, being true to the description......... I’m just not a fan of the container that some of the screws come in.It’s not bad at all..... I just feel like it’s overkill.This particular container IS stackable.... so I’m sure it’ll come in handy for other workshop items.It’s just the amount that you get in this particular order.... leaves a lot of room in the container.Sorry, It doesn’t affect the actual product, so it’s not “deduct a star” worthy... just an opinion. HahaThat aside.....The screws themselves are great!Highly recommend!5 Stars!

We have used this line of hardware in various situations over the summer and all have performed perfectly. Love the container they come shipped in if you don't want to put them in trays leaving them as they come woks as has a clear top. Nice hardware, no stripping out, sharp points.

I got these screws to use for a number of projects, overall the are great quality but the container is HUGE and is a waste of plastic. I had to transfer these to much smaller containers because of the amount of space it took. Overall I like the screws but they gotta work on packaging.

High quality stainless steel screws without tabs or other creases or lines from having been stamped out. The stainless material makes then ideal for outdoor use. I've used them to screw replacement carpet on my boat trailer bunks.
