Hot Logic Mini with 6 Cup Pyrex Included - Green

I love the mini. I have used it every day since it arrived. I am 80 years old with the numerous ailments of my age I have difficulty with the stairs and now I can have a hot meal daily without draining my power as with a microwave. Thank you so much for a great product. This would be a great gift for someone's elderly relative

I travel all over my state for my job. Eating out gets expensive. This is perfect for frozen dinners. Lean Cuisines, Smart Ones, etc. fit perfectly in it. Just put the whole package (box and all) in it & turn it on about 1-1/2 hours before you eat & it will be ready. You can put it in earlier and the directions say it will bring the food up to temperature and maintain that temperature until you are ready to eat it. One of my frozen dinners was pasta based and I put it in as soon as I got to work at 8:30 a.m. by noon I was ready to eat. The noodles were a little mushy. I started putting my food in one and a half hours before I was ready to eat and that seems to work good with the exception of a Lean Cuisine lasagna. It was very thick. I think two hours ahead of schedule would have been better. I have not tried homemade food in it yet but feel sure you will not have a problem. I read lots of reviews on this before I bought it and those reviews helped me make a decision to get it. If it ever stops working I'll be right here on Amazon ordering another one. My co-workers loved it. And because you don't make slits in the plastic covering the frozen food dish you cannot smell anything. It looks like a little lunch box. Must plug in-that's it. No dials or timers. Highly highly recommend!

I absolutely LOVE IT! I cannot believe I've never seen this before! Originally I was looking for a small crock pot to heat up food, and this came up on my search. I was skeptical at first, even after reading all the POSITIVE reviews. I had my doubts but bought it anyway. I took it with me to work while traveling where I did not have access to a fridge or microwave. I packed all my nutrisystem meals (all pantry items). Every morning when I grabbed my breakfast I placed my prepackaged lunch meal pouch or soups without opening or venting to cook and the food heated PERFECTLY. I even used it with the dry noodle soups by adding room temperature water, and it works way better than sticking it in the microwave and then waiting for the noodles to cook in the hot water. It's a slow cooker method, not once did my meals dry out. The key is to remember to set your meal in advance, and give it a few hours. I normally set it around 8:30am and by Noon when I was ready to eat, it was perfectly hot. My best investment in 2017!

This product has all the features I was looking for. Easy to clean, easy to use and great for traveling. However, it is pathetically slow on heating and does not retain the heat well after unzipping and opening the container. It took me over three hours to heat up my leftovers which were only refrigerated, not frozen. Still the mashed potatoes were warm, not hot. I wanted something that would heat up to "hot" not warm. I think it should be called Warm Logic.

I bought this cause I have severe food allergies and I kept getting exposed at work. I suspected our shared microwaves had something to do with it. Well I’ve been using it about four weeks now and no inappropriate food exposures! Also the texture of the food coming out is just vastly superior to microwaved food...just like an oven. I have only used it for reheating so far, I haven’t cooked anything in it. I use four cup Pyrex containers stuffed full with cooked veggies. I think two hours warm time is the sweet spot, keeping in mind that they are usually packed very densely, not much air space in there. I am wary of plastics so I remove the plastic lid and cover with foil, and leave a corner vented to let out any fumes that could result.

This thing is awesome. I'm a big boy and this will cook enough for my meals. Was out of town for training at a hotel with very expensive dining ($18-$26 for a meal). No fridge or microwave in rooms. Went to Walmart each evening and grabbed a frozen breakfast and dinner. Threw the breakfast on at bedtime. It was hot and ready in the morning. Threw the frozen dinner (kept frozen in cooler) on at breakfast and it was ready by lunch time. Ate each day for less than $20 total instead of $20+ each meal at the hotel. Saving in one day paid for Hot Logic. Wish I had invented this one. Food hot all the way thru and much better than microwave. Be careful though, it is too hot to eat immediately and yet nothing burnt.

I travel for work so having a way to heat up meals is a must! This is the perfect item. I can put my food in, go to the gym, shower, and by the time Im done my dinner is hot and ready. Note to buyer, the lid is supposed to be on the pyrex while cooking! I felt like a dumby when I figured this out after complaining my food never got hot to a coworker, don't be like me! But once I read the manual like a normal person I love my hot logic!

The material on the bottom is torn after 2 uses. I'm not sure if the hot plate got too hot and caused the material to split. I'm really bummed because I really wanted this product.
