Cherry MX Blues are Loud and Clicky!
Firstly, I chose the UK Clicky (Cherry MX Blue) because I wanted to have the sound and tactile feedback that is often associated with older terminal keyboards. As I'm typing this I can say that I love feeling and loud click from this keyboard! A word of warning, Cherry MX Blues are quite loud, and can be annoying to other people. I chose Professional instead of ultimate because although I can touch type, I find it difficult to remember the symbols. If you are looking to purchase a keyboard for gaming, this is possibly not the keyboard for you. Cherry MX Blues are clicky (as opposed to linear) and have an activation force of 50cN. As the release point is above the actuation point I also find it difficult to double tap. I would recommend looking for a keyboard with MX Red or Blacks. This keyboard is a full sized keyboard and contrary to the image, it has a standard UK ISO layout, with 105 keys. The metal surface looks quite cool but it does mean that the keyboard itself is quite heavy. This is no problem if you are not going to move your keyboard around but if you are then you should consider a 60% keyboard. The menu buttons on the right I don't use that much but one of the reasons I bought the Das Keyboard 4 as opposed to S is because of the volume knob. Personally I really like the look and enjoy spinning it aimlessly while reading. At the top right of the keyboard there are 2 usb 3 ports, which I like to use for my mouse and any usbs I have. The footbar has a ruler inscribed onto it which I have found is useful as I don't keep a 30cm ruler handy on my desk. With the footbar in place the keyboard is only slightly tilted towards me, which for me is no problem because I like to type without a large tilt on the keyboard but causes annoyance to my friends when they tried it out.The top of the keys are roughly 20mm from the bottom of the keyboard. This is quite high compared to many other keyboard and took me a while to get used to. They keyboard also has NKRO, which can be toggled by pressing shift+mute round menu button). Without NKRO enabled, I believe that the maximum number of keys that can be pressed is 6. With it enabled, it had no trouble picking up all the keys even when my palm was on the keyboard.Sadly the keyboard doesn't come with a key puller or any other tools. It looks like the screws on the back are 6 sided hex screws, which is going to make it hard if I ever want to take it apart for deeper cleaning. When typing, I often like to tap backspace to delete words, which is more difficult with MX Blues. I am also slightly annoyed because the words for the modifier keys are centered but for the letters they are at the top left of the keys.Overall I really like the look, feel and sound of the keyboard and I would recommend it to anyone looking to buy it.

Good solid piece of kit. A pleasure to use.
Excellent piece of kit, really enjoy typing on it - possibly even more than my old IBM 'tank'. Couple of shortcomings: back-lighting would be nice to have (yes, I'm on a 'Professional' model, not a good touch-typist I'm afraid); the USB cord feels rather cheap, though I'm sure it'll stand the test of time. The ruler that acts as a stand makes only two of the four rubber feet touch the surface on which it sits, which makes it less grippy on my desk. Mine was ever so slightly warped, which made on of the two feet touch even less. On the plus side the metal top surface made it very easily adjusted to make both feet touch the ground properly. The volume wheel on the side is a nice touch as are the minimalist media buttons that don't clutter the clean layout that are the punishment of other keyboards.

Solidly made but not perfect.
This keyboard is very nice but sadly has a few flaws which is a shame. On the plus side it's solidly made and quite heavy, with keys that have great tactile feedback (and are quite 'clicky', hence the name). The volume control and media buttons are a nice feature as are the two USB ports. On the downside it is almost flat, and the gimmicky detachable ruler (who uses a ruler when they are typing?) does little to change the angle. Some adjustable lugs would have been much more useful. But my biggest gripe is with the usb lead which is very thick and inflexible and detracts from an otherwise well built unit. A wireless version would be sooo much better!! So considering the price it's good but far from perfect.

Cool keyboard, you'll make excuses just to type on it.
I've had this for a while now and I love it. It took me a while to convince myself to buy this keyboard because it is expensive but I think it will last for a long time, it feels nice to use, it looks cool and there isn't a thing wrong with it at all. I wish I could take it to work with me and use it there.

I love this keyboard
I love this keyboard. It just costs twice as much as the German keyboard does (I guess the UK market is playground for greedy sellers). I would recommend it, but the price is quite outrageous for what it is really.

Lovely keyboard let down by poor keycaps
Keys are lovely, and vastly improved by adding O-rings to quieten the bottoming out noise. Without O-rings you hear more clack from the bottoming out than the click from the switch at the mid-point.Keboard is very solid and nice and heavy, with a quality feel. Media buttons and volume knob are nice.Keycaps have letters top-left and not centred as in the photos here.Main downside is that the laser-etched keys mean the letters go grey very quickly. They won't rub off, but two-shot keycaps would be nicer to look at. In fact it looks like some well-used keys are starting to get a polished surface, instead of the neat matt finish they started with. A pity given the quality of the keyboard otherwise.

Get this and never look back, i cant believe ...
Get this and never look back, i cant believe its taken me so long to invest in one of these. Typing is now a pleasure.

Too loud for office but otherwise brilliant. Choose Brown keys for office.
It's a brilliant keyboard for typing. Pleasure in typing. The tactile feeling results in less typos. But if you need a keyboard for the office I would not recommend the Blue keys. For office - better go with Brown keys.
