The hardest part of replacing the grip was removing the previous grip on the bat... which I think may have been superglued. However it was worth the effort to scrape all that muck off. The application was easy with simple instructions. Finished product looks great and it made the. whole bat look almost new.Also the yellow is an obnoxious shade of yellow... perfect for girls fast pitch softball and goes well with he Sky blue and pink bat it went on.

Absolutely loving the ease of this bat grip. I just installed this onto a 28” Easton and it fit perfectly. In general I would say the grip has a great tacky feel to it without being sticky. I went with the 1.75mm and I’m glad I did. I think had I gone thinner it would not have absorbed the vibration well enough.Installing the grip was not a challenge at all. My hardest problem was removing the old weather worn grip off the bat. The grip came off but let tons of glue on the handle of the bat. I eventually used some WD-40 to eat away at the glue and got it clean and dry.The packaging was very simple for the grip. A hint, the tape that will go at the top of your grip is wrapped around the folded up grip. It doesn’t look like it, but you can carefully pull it apart (I tried to carefully slide the wrap out of the tape thinking I was going to damage the tape). Be careful though cause the tape will stretch.Applying the wrap is as simple as getting it started in the handle, spinning the bat while placing the grip. I had my son help which offered me two hands and made it easy to get the overlap perfect. For that overlap, there is a nice indent on the wrap design that you can use as a guide so it is very simple.The top of the wrap gets locked on with the tape from the packaging and is straightforward. Only thing to be gareful of is not to stretch the tape too much trying to pull it tight. The grip is much sturdier so you have to go much easier on the tape but your brain is used to pull tight on the grip.All in all the instructions are easy to follow and the wrap went on smoothly.

Having just recently experienced how much of an upgrade 1.75mm Lizard Skin bat grip is for improving comfort, I decided to try an off brand to see if it's worth saving money on a bat that's not as important.The feel of this wrap over the stock bat is just about the same upgrade to Lizard skins. If you don't have them side by side it should be difficult to tell the two apart. I marked this product slightly down because the adhesive on the knob side of the bat didn't even get all the way to the skinny tapered part. I am relying on the adhesive that starts about 2" from the end overlapping the tapered area to keep it together. The Lizard skin adhesive went all the way or nearly all the way to the end.This product includes a section of branded electrical tape to complete the wrap, Lizard Skin added an extra strip of the same nice wrap and asks you to find your own electrical tape. Once you cover your generic electric tape with the little strip of Lizard skins your ready to go. If you're really picky about how it looks, that would be the primary difference, this item didn't come with an extra piece of wrap to cover the tape.This grip is a big upgrade from the stock worn out grip it replaced. It's soft and has a nice feel. It should be worth it for a bargain shopper saving 30% from Lizard Skin... But since I have the two brands in the same thickness side by side I can tell the Lizard is slightly more tacky even though it's months older than this grip I just applied. Very slightly, but if you want the best, I would buy Lizard. Value shoppers can settle for this if the price matters that much, it's a good product and I don't have regrets. If the adhesive went all the way to the end of the wrap on this product I might not dock any stars, but since the knob is where you start it, and the start wasn't sticky, I had to hold it with my finger until the adhesive overlapped the tapered end. Minor difference, but I think it's worth removing a star.

This was easy to install and seems to be wearing well. The wrap looks great too. Pay attention to the wrap direction of the old wrap before installing any new wrap, just to make sure you put it on right.

My son’s grip was wearing out, so we purchased this one. He loves the amount of cushion and grip. Easy to put on, too.

I used it for my son’s lacrosse defense stick (d-pole). I had more than enough to tape the bottoms and top areas of the pole and still has some remaining. It’s held up pretty well so far, lacrosse players are anything but gentle with their gear.

Put it on practice bat grip is still good and comfy
