Great fins, perfect for travel
Bought these because the original fins they are based on had great reviews from a scuba gear comparison website. These appear better than the originals because they're held on by springs instead of straps and are super easy to put on while on a dive boat in full gear and even easier to take off in the water so you can toss them on the boat before climbing the ladder. They're also really fast in the water, almost as fast as my top of the line Apollo bio-fins, But the best part of all is the weight and size. They're shorter and much lighter than standard fins so they're easy to walk in, carry, and pack. The Apollo Bio-fins on the other hand were long and super heavy and difficult to maneuver on the boat (they were also a pain in the butt to pull off).In summary, very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend to any diver that prefers to wear boots when diving.

Love These
I love these. Theyre lightweight, durable, and they pack easy. They also allow me to use different styles of kick and I dont feel like im missing out on any power. They are as good at flutter kicking as novas or something but they are great all around fins.

Excellent travel fins...
I recently used these in a local quarry on a test run and will be taking them to Bonaire later this summer. One interesting point discovered during that trip is that these fins are slightly positively buoyant in fresh water. I expect that it will be even more buoyant in salt water. The outcome of the test was that these work very well as a "travel fin" and would be really nice for a reef or a wall. They are underpowered so I will not be taking them into heavy surge or wreck diving off the NC coast. I am fine with their limitations as I plan to use them in my scuba kit for Caribbean travel and use other fins for challenging environs. These fins are 20" long and fit perfectly in the "Aqualung Departure" travel kit (as they are the same length as "hotshot" fins). I prefer these to hotshots as the F2 is a stiffer "vented" design and is not "floppy". The stiff vented design gives good performance and allows helicopter turns and swimming in reverse. Floppy fins are great for cruising but not so much for photography or other dives where maneuvering is important.

Great fins
Husband loves them! They are a bit oversized, so get the smaller size if you are inbetween sizes. Very comfortable. The spring strap is great and very easy to get on and off.

Good for the frog kick
Two issues with these fins: 1: the foot pockets are rather huge. I'm a size 11, and the "Regular" only worked on a full 5mm boot - no chance using it on anything smaller... Even then it was borderline too big... The second is that this really doesn't work well with a flutter kick. Good for the frog kick, so good for technical diving with a lightweight package. On the PLUS side, these are VERY light weight, and rather compact. Good for travel. Just get the right size, and frog-away! Don't expect these to be "fast" fins. But when you're diving, slow is usually fine, unless you get caught in a current, at which point, these are a bit of a pain.

Technically, Not Technical Fins.
I love Hollis gear, but these are brutal. They are positively buoyant, and they feel like they are built for kids. There is no forward force to the fin, and they are really not well designed for any technical kick like frog, modified flutter, etc..If you are buying them for a snorkel trip, or you're a warm water diver with just an AL80 and a jacket BC - these would do you ok, but "technical" they are not.

Great warm water, technical travel fin!
These are great travel fins. Light, compact, and powerful. I use these when on vacation and trying to cut the luggage weight. That being said, I'm used to heavy, rubber rocket fins for tech diving. These will not provide the same power as a rocket fin (so don't expect great results if diving with multiple tanks, cold-water weights, etc.). Perfect for tropical water vacations!

Two Stars
Haven't tried it yet, but looks okay. Maybe a bit flimsy for serious diving.
