Received it today after just getting notice it shipped yesterday!! Nice little machine, I purchased it to clean my body jewelry (septum clickers, curved & circular barbells, labret studs, etc.) You can safely put faux-opals in here & not have to worry. You can also clean glasses, waterproof watches, any jewelry can be put in here. You just use water, press one button to select the time & start it, very easy!! You can add jewelry cleaning chemicals to the water, but with stones such as real opals or pearls, you only use water as they are porous stones & any chemicals can ruin them. Great price for a great product, highly recommended!!

I've always wanted one of these for my jewelry, and this one is wonderful when paired wtih the liquid silver cleaner. Be sure to rinse and wipe all of the cleaned jewelry with a towel after being put in the machine to insure that there is no musk leftover.

I have been using this "mean cleaning machine" for several months now, and it works for almost everything! I use it on all my jewelry that can get wet and it works wonders. My jewerly shines and looks like new. I have a couple of silver items that are small enough to fit in the cleaner, and I only wish it were bit enough to hold all my silver! It removes tarnish in an instant. I'll never regret this purchase. It's saved me many hours of labor, and it cleans better than I ever could under my own "steam!"
