I use it to create waves in my fine hair!
I have somewhat longer (two inches past my shoulders), straight and very fine hair and these work well for me. I use them to roll my slightly damp hair, with a bit of product, up into a loose bun at night. In the morning, I have wavy hair with nice body and I never use a curling iron or blowdryer. I will even wear it to work in the morning and let it set until lunch (since it just looks like a loose bun) and voile: nicely waved hair with some body. It’s not easy to get body and waves in my fine, limp hair, so I use this thing a lot, particularly for travel since it weighs next to nothing/a lot less than a blowdyer/curling iron.The ONLY catch: they don’t last long. I get a couple of months of use out of one and then the wire breaks, so I have to order a new one. I just order sets so I have a few on hand when one of them breaks.The best way to get fine hair to stay: get it slightly damp and use some product, like split end repair, to saturate the very ends of your hair so when you roll it up, it stays in the roll without slipping out. Fine hair doesn’t stay in these rolls easily, so it took me a while to figure this out. I also spray some of my favorite Aveda hair spray all over my hair before I roll it, which also helps it to stay in the roll/not slip out.I used to use that Charlie Curl product, but it, too, broke after just a couple of months of use. So, I switched to this product because the Charlie curl was 20 times the price and gave me the exact same results = why spend more money to get the exact same results. Yes, these break too, but they are much more affordable to replace!

Quick and easy style
I use the medium bun for my donut updo and I love it!! Done in 5 minutes! Quick, professional and cute hairstyle! Hides underneath my hair well (my hair color is a 1B). I use less than 8 hair pins and I never have to dig the pins into my scalp. Also I never have to pin the donut down. I only pin my hair as I tuck it around the sponge. Like 1 hair pin every 3/4 in around until all the hair is tucked under

Don’t buy for thick/heavy hair
Sorry but this does not hold thick hair. Not strong enough to hold anything but super thin hair. I even tried to separate my hair into quarters and it couldn't even hold up that small little bit of hair in the slightest (even with a rubber band for support). Returned them.

Love These!
Does exactly what it's supposed to do! I have texturized but still very curly hair. These helped my buns look at lot smoother and sleeker than they usually would without. I have a second set on the way for double buns styles!

Good purchase for the price
Super cute, easy to put in, and easy to hide. My hair has layers though so I will have to put in Bobby pins. Great purchase for the price, I will probably give one of the small ones to my niece. The back part of the bun does not look as nice though so thicker hair would probably work better for this product because it doesn’t clasp in the back and you can’t tuck hair into the product back there.

I used black to match the color of my hair. Very nice! I could use this anytime I want 'coz it's just easy to use unlike to other kind of hair fixer.I'm satisfied of this, love it.

Dont pass these up.
My 10 year old daughter loves these. It only takes her a few minutes to put them in and because there are 3 of them she has created so many different looks. They are very durable and will last a long time. They took a whole to get even though we are Prime Members but it is worth the wait. Her friends all ask her how she get such a perfect bun. I will be purchasing more for my other 2 daughters in the future

Inexpensive, but slow shipping and tears after lots of use.
These donut hair bun makers are really inexpensive which is great, and it's nice that they come in a pack of 3 different sizes.The medium sized donut is starting to unravel because of lots of use and probably because it's cheap. The others are fine. It also took them a really long time to arrive in the mail.
