In what place do I have a home or feel at home? In which ways does a woman have a more challenging or,conversely,easier time in finding her "country"?

A powerful dislocating effort. Mixture of standing aside (observation) and uncomfortable realization. Never misunderstood or suspected a high falutin' word, all honest. Neeed to reread again and again.

I don't know how to begin to say how much I love Eavan Boland's poems. Look her up on the internet and see if you like them, strong and vivid and full of dark shapes and currents.

I just received this book of poetry and have not yet read it. The author, Eaven Boland, is highly recommended and I look forward to immersing myself in her poems.
