Last year I cut holes in my green house to attach it to my fence and as you can imagine the cheap plastic ripped and iv had to bin it. This year I decided to get a bit creative using this grommet kit. It was super easy and apart from me putting them in back to front in super happy with the result.Highly recommend for simple jobs but the circle cutting tool might struggle with tougher materials.

not sure what to say about these, they do exactly what you'd expect, brilliant for lace holes, belt holes ect. super easy to use, just pop the bigger ones under the cloth, the ring ones over the cloth, use the included too and a hammer to wack them together and your done, simples. you even get a leather hole punch in the perfect size included. its everything you need to replace that missing lace hole in your trainers or Dc Martins or make your leather belt a bit more hardy with solid belt holes, its great, all neatly kept together in the included box.

It arrived on time and was well packed. Contrary to prior reviews for the product, ours came with very good instructions for how to use. It does cut holes cleanly, but you should place a block of flat wood beneath and have it on a solid surface. We made four holes and inserted for grommet rings in just 5 mins. Would recommend for small holes, laces etc.

According to description these grommets are sized about 1/4" or 6mm. As I was wanting something to fit a 5mm bolt through I thought they should just do but they are too small for that and I had to go down to an M4 size so if the hole width is important to you note this well.Like others I had to sharpen the cutter before it would even do the first punch whole well and it was fairly thin material.Otherwise for the price it does the job; it's for above reasons I've dropped it down to two stars.

Purchased these for adding holes to tarpaulin so that I could tie it to the neighbours side of our fence trellis. I have resprayed my side and didn’t want to shower my neighbours with the black treatment I used!Worked very well for this purpose. You simply put one of each shape on each side of the material, and hit the tool with a hammer with the hard metal piece underneath and the grommet simply opens and grips the material to create a metal hole. Very simple to use.Have loads left but I’m sure they will get used! They come in sturdy storage box so will be well protected on the shelf!Good product. Happy to recommend.

I wanted to place eyelets in some sheet material so that I could lace two edges together. This small pack contained everything I needed and was very effective. My only problem was that due, presumably to poor postal handling, the latch on the plastic box was broken, meaning that I was not able to close the box securely.

So much easier than the essentials I guaranteed ago. I will happily make projects with eyelets npw, rather than avoid them. I made a quiet book for my great niece the eyelets worked brilliamtly

Poorly designed kit, not sure what it would work on, maybe really thin material. Otherwise the metal used is almost foil like and a lot less safe, as it readily splits into little razors.
