Vivere Brazilian Style Sunbrella Double Hammock, Sand

Bought this to replace a cheaper fabric hammock that had mildewed after a year of use. At that time I also bought one of these with a stand. As it turns out I would have been better off buying two of these then, but I wasn't sure the price premium was worth it. Now I know better. These handle hot Texas sun as well as wild Texas rain, and look almost as good a couple years later as when they are new (comparing this to the original one). My only complaint is that there isn't a spreader bar option, so this will tend to cocoon you if you lay in it. Particularly if there are two people as the "double" size suggests. Still, you will be hard pressed to find anything better for less than twice the cost.

Hoping this will prove to be a lot more durable that the cotton ones, which I replace yearly. Although it says it's a double I think two people would be a tight fit, better used as a nice coccoony single. Does not have the stretch of cotton so a different feeling but still comfortable. Does bead water. One star off for putting cotton ropes on a weatherproof hammock; those will probably fail first.

light weight but sturdy. Easy to fold up when not in use. Very comfortable as it wraps around the body, nice on cold evenings when I use it.

Good overall. Just want to confirm another reviewer that it does hold water. You have to empty it out and let it dry before use. It dry pretty quickly.

Not the softest hammock on the block, but strong, comfortable, and seemingly impervious to the elements. Quite nice looking, I think.

We have had several hammocks over the years but this is our first Sunbrella Hammock. The quality and design is very nice. My only negative comment is that is it not as wide as a "typical" double hammock so if you are planning to snuggle up with your child or partner, this one might not be for you.

Perfect. Well made. Seems durable. Quick set up.

Wanted a hammock that would stand up to the elements. However it’s sturdiness takes away from the comfort, very stiff. Also when it rains water puddles in the hammock without draining.

We use this hammock on our deck and leave it out in the elements all summer. This will be our third summer and the hammock is still good as new!
