A co-worker had the "shoulder"/ upper body wrap at work one day and I asked what's that? She herself had seen her sister-in-law with it and her hubby bought for her. Well, word of mouth does work, as I too liked the idea and the lavender/mixed herbs aroma (mix of lavender w/ rosemary & menthol?). It's a natural heating pad with "weight" (like a hyrdroculator with weight, something like you'd find at the physical therapist). I checked the price for just the upper body wrap and found at Amazon (apx $35) and the manufacturer ($49) ... then searching more on Amazon, compared the individual pricing for the 4 items (didn't really need the sinus or eye mask, but having used the eye mask, I do like it and the soothing aroma, but I do not heat it to use it),The apx $75 for entire set was too good not to buy all 4 pieces w/ free Amazon Prime 2-day shippingps - I didn't see the soft protective slip-on cover at Amazon in blue, so I went to the manufacturer and bought it there (apx $11 with 1st time buyer discount).Regarding how to "warm" the hot pack -- I heat my shoulder wrap and the spine/back rectangle in the MICROWAVE for apx 3 min, then flip it to the other side and MW for another 1-2 (test what's best, comfortable temp for your use).

This is my third set of Nature Creation packs I've bought online as gifts. While not as fragrant or guaranteed five years as earlier products (in-store seasonal kiosks), these still pack a punch and will last two years. In fact, after being unpacked, the Valerian (smells of rotting/smelly stuff) was pungent and didn't clear until after airing the product out for a few days. After that, the lavender , rosemary and other herbs dominated. The Ultimate is my preference for the greater coverage of the shoulder and back. One downside of ordering online is no choice in the fabric patterns/colors (third order was a dull messy black instead of previous bright vibrant patterns). I've gotten around that by making new fabric covers but would still like a choice of cool or warm colors on ordering. The heat lasts about 20 min. It has helped many times for quicker recovery from a pulled/aching muscle. Usually reheat it 2-3 times per session. Just have to be careful to wrap the velcro inside to avoid accidental microwave melting. To keep everything clean on the heating stage, another clean towel bundles the whole thing. It is safer to heat a little less at first to gauge what's best from your microwave for timing. Prices online are seasonal (high and low).

For quality I'd give it 4 stars. I like the smell, it doesn't damage easily. You don't want to get it wet, though. For relief I'd give it 5 stars. My muscles are super tense and this seems to be a great way to get relief. I put the heating pack on them and I can feel them relaxing. However, the heat doesn't last as long. For lasting heat I'd give it 3 stars. As I mentioned before, although it lasts longer than others it still goes cold after about 6-7 minutes. For price I'd give it negative 1! The price keeps jumping all over the place. When I first purchased this, it was $79.99, but the package came up missing in transit. I got a refund because the price went up and they didn't want to send me another one. So I waited and waited after months of it being $99.99 and bought it when it finally decreased. I mean I can use the $20 elsewhere. When I moved, my mom ended up needing it more than I so I gave it to her. So here I am trying to replace it and now it's almost twice as much at $139.99!!! Crazy. I guess I'll have to let it sit in the cart until the price goes down because that's just over the top ridiculous!

What a great this is. I have had a larger version of the neck wrap by this same company that I bought at the State Fair close to 20 years ago and the herbs are still going strong. I have kept it in a gallon freezer bag to keep the herbs from losing potency which has obviously helped. I have used that neck wrap to death but now I can't find it. It has to say something that given a choice of so many brands to choose a replacement from that I chose to stay with Nature Creation. While I have never used this product cold yet I can tell you that there is nothing like the warmth and aroma of this product to make you feel better.

This is the second set of therapy packs I have purchased, as I wore the first set out. I only use the large packs- after 2x week back treatments, however, the small ones stay cool and smell great. I was surprised that the current price is the same as an August 2016 lightening deal. Unless used frequently, the price may seem high. The packs do not freeze and the cloth is comfortable on bare skin. Turn the pack over for continued use after first side warms up.

Very good so far - We wanted to replace one pad (shoulder) from the same company that we used for several years. Very good deal on this set! We already have used all the pads in this set and each have a soothing effect. I have back problems and the spine relief pad is designed to stay in place with two straps (same with the shoulder pad that remains around the neck).

I have had one for over 10 years and it is still in great shape. Recently had to buy another set because my husband keeps taking it.

I use this product over and over again. It is excellent for helping with swelling and pain. I also used it when my mom had surgery which gave her great comfort. I loved it so much that I am ordering another.,
