For thin veneer, build-it-yourself furniture, this is quite a beautiful piece. It matches well with actual antiques I have in my living room, and some people take it for an antique also. It's great for storing cd's and dvd's. My only complaint is the top and bottom (fixed) shelves barely fit a standard cd and anything slightly over-sized won't go in. Giving these shelves even an extra 1/2"-3/4" of space would help. The hardware is solid and looks good. This should be attached to the wall, since the doors are heavy and could pull the case over. Assembly is easy if you've built some of these types of furniture before, though it may look daunting to a first timer. I advise help when hanging the doors since they are difficult to hold steady and put in a screw by yourself. I highly recommend this cabinet.

I was concerned before I ordered this cabinet because of some of the negative reviews I read. But I took a chance and ordered it anyway and I am so happy that I did. This cabinet looks REALLY good and has excellent fit and finish and I am very particular about my furniture. I read some of the reviews that said the holes didn't align and things didn't fit correctly, etc. I had ZERO problems with the holes aligning and everything fit perfectly. In fact, I am so happy with this I am going to order another one immediately after I post this because I have more than 330 CDs and want another cabinet that matches this one.One minor thing to be aware of is that it does take some time to put it together. I am pretty handy and didn't have any issues putting it together but it did take me a couple of hours to do so. But again, it is well worth it because the finished product looks fantastic. The instructions were very helpful and all the parts matched up perfectly with the instructions. I couldn't be happier with this cabinet for what I consider to be a very reasonable price.

It took my son and I quite a while to put these together but they are beautiful. The doors are heavy, due to the glass in them so I would definitely suggest two people. Also, they MUST be anchored to the wall. If not, they will fall forward when opened due to the heavy doors. I did purchase better anchors as the ones provided were cheap. I got the anchors that screw into the wall and I feel they are very secure. Also, I didn't use the measurements in the instructions for the anchor. I marked the wall near the brackets and placed the anchors accordingly. It was MUCH easier.

This is a sturdy, nice looking little media cabinet. If I had my druthers, I would like it to be twice the size it is. I did know how small it was before ordering; and, yes, my initial thoughts were that it is too small. It is. On the good side, it is a nice looking, sturdy, decorative piece of furniture. I used to build this type of furniture for retail stores, so maybe my opinion is a little skewed; but I found the build to be pretty straightforward. On the plus side, they include a little package of spare parts. Very nice touch. Another pleasant surprise was the fact that all the parts were separated and marked to make it that much easier to assemble. Now for the reason for 4 stars instead of 5. The backing piece is TAPED together; so you can see this horrible piece of tape in the back, running the entire length of the piece. I cannot fathom why they did not make a proper backing. I guess I'll just have to make sure it is fully loaded, although I know the tape will still show through at the top of each section. What a shame.

I am well satisfied with the product. For the money, it looks classy and holds a large number of DVDs. The directions for assembly are well laid out, but some spaces that screws are needed are such a tight fit that it's hard to screw in the screws. Overall, however, I am pleased. It's a lovely piece of furniture that looks more expensive than it is.

I got a pair of these to replace a pair of cases I use to hold Blu Ray discs. There are two adjustable shelves and the spacing of the fixed shelves, greatly limits the usefulness. The assembly is interesting... you should loosely fit everything together and then tighten. If you put a piece in place and tighten it before you placed the others, you will have to remove the tightened piece... I can work though the assembly issues [it only took about 45 minutes... even with the false starts. Be aware, :D the back is a butterfly and needs to be opened to fill the space [after a few minutes of looking! :D]. Really, the only knock is the inability [so far!] to change the position of some of the shelves. I have a LOT of blue ray and dvds and need a lot of space to store them. If I could I would rate these at 3.5. They look nice, once assembled they are sturdy. They are great for CDs, less so for DVDs and even less for blue ray. My advice is, if you need blue ray storage, give these a hard pass... I wish I had

The cabinet came very well protected and the design and color are lovely. It looks great in my living room for my movies. Assembly was not too bad and the instructions are much more visual than by word descriptions, so if you follow that it is fine. I use this cabinet to store my DVDs, and it works wonderfully. It looks wonderful, especially in a living room. I highly recommend this cabinet for price, style, and functionality.

I love this cabinet. Was easy to put together (provided you have some previous experience in assembling box furniture). My CD and small DVD collection all fit, with some extra shelving space left over. The one thing I can't overstate, once assembled this is a beautiful piece of furniture. Fits perfectly with all my other "office" Cherry furniture. One word of caution: Don't try to peel the labels off the backing piece, paint stain and all comes off. Had to do some impromptu cosmetic surgery. Enjoy this piece, worth every penny I paid for it!!

I liked the 1st one I bought and filled it so quickly, I bought a second one. It makes a nice piece of furniture.
