The media could not be loaded.  I purchased these to bring to a large camp gathering we have every year. About 25 families come. I knew there would be tons of children there so I got these to add a fun twist on our nightly fire. They were amazing!!! Everyone enjoyed them so much and were the life of the party. Will definitely purchase again. One thing I did notice from some past reviews is that people were complaining about them not working or only lasting a few seconds. They much have been using them wrong. You do NOT open the packets up. You throw the entire packet onto the fire and it will do its thing. I threw 2 on at a time, in different parts of the fire and they lasted at least 30min if not longer. Just make sure you are reading and following the directions correctly.

These packets are easy to use in the outdoor fireplace. Have shared some with the neighbors

My family goes camping a lot and we all love the colorful flames. Different campgrounds carry different kinds and for the most part I've been dissappointed. Some come in tubes you throw in, others in containers full of powder and you throw the powder onto the fire. However, the others always seem to either not last very long or you seem to use a ton of it. This mystical fire can be found in many camp stores for around a buck and a half per packet. I throw two packets on the fire and it lasts 1/2 hour plus. The one downside to every kind I've tried including this one is the lack of different colors. They all seem to add blue and green and that's about it. I'd like to see purple and pink and red too like on the cover. Still giving it a 5 star rating because I have tried at least 8-10 different kinds and none have produced as well as this one.

Father of four and avid outdoor camper, road trip enthusiast. These give the most color and last twice as long as other brands. VERY happy with their performance. Throw one on your fire and enjoy the burst, throw a second on 15 minutes later for a boost and then you have at least an hour of colored flames. These will forever be a staple in my trailer kit. Very pleased with this purchase and multiple shipments have all provided the same, consistent, colorful results.

Update:The color is pretty cool and 1 pack lasts roughly 20-30 mins in the campfire.I just recieved the 24 pack came that I purchased but it only with 23 packs. Not a huge ordeal but lets just say something cost $20 and I only Pay $19... doesnt seam right. as far as the product performance, ill be trying them out this weekend and will update the 3 star based on performance.

Adds a fun touch to fires. If you follow the directions and place several packets on a fire they last about 30 minutes. The colors are pretty good, but we noticed there was really only blue and green flames produced. This could be from what chemicals/metals they are using. It is not recommended to cook over the fire so wait til after the smores are done. If you want to not follow the directions and cut open the packet (probably not recommended, do not not try this at home...blah blah blah lawyer stuff) and sprinkle over the fire, I think produces a better look with more even color distribution but does not last as long. All and all a cheap way to make camping a little more interesting. Highly recommend everyone we have shown thought it was pretty cool looking.

Ill just start with the fact that this is amazing. I mean a huge purple fire, or even orange or blue or green. All eyes will be on you when you go camping. I bought a pack of 24 and couldnt even wait until my lady and i went camping. We made a charcol pit and tried out a pack. One pack had the fire burning blue and green. The downside is the coals stopped putting out flames but the pack wasnt done. These are most definitely made for a wood burning fire....or a flamethrower??

Add one or two (or more) of these to a fire for some very cool colors. The effects last for some time as well, you can often see them still lingering in the embers when you allow the fire to burn down and go out.
