RustAid GSX00101 Goof Off Rust Stain Remover, 1 Gallon

This stuff works great on red clay. I'd tried a variety of different products including muratic acid. This worked better with zero scrubbing. In the pic you can see difference in exposed aggregate driveway after one application. Power washing alone did little (darker area in bottom was pressure washed in anticipation of application of chemical - figure better to remove surface dirt to allow cleaner to work more efficiently). Bought all 18 cases from local Lowes since Amazon was out of stock. Will be buying more. It doesn't go too far on my drive. The one clean square took a whole gallon applied un-diluted but it's not too expensive at $12/gal +/- so good deal.

They flushed out a fire hydrant by our house and made a rusty mess on the sidewalk and gutter. Obviously the city wasn't planning on cleaning up their mess so I ordered some of this stuff. All I can say is amazing !!!Sprayed it on with a small 1 gallon sprayer and almost instantly the rust disappeared. No scrubbing, just spray it on,let it set a couple minutes and hose it off. Not sure how it would work on heavy rust stains that have soaked into the concrete for years but for my situation it worked fantastic. Just ordered another to keep on hand.

Best product ever tried for removing rust stains! Highly recommend! Have used it many times and never been disappointed in the results! Very easy to use.

I used this to remove rust stains from a concrete porch. The rust stains originated from some old steel planters we had on our porch. The product did a decent job of lightening the appearance of the rust stains, but it didn't remove the stains entirely. This could be partly because the stains had been there for years (not fresh). On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worst stain, it did reduce the years old stains from level 10 to a level 3 or 4.

I have had rust stains all the over my concrete patio for years. I used this product and it took them right off. Very easy to use. It does have a whitening effect which I don’t mind since it looks much cleaner. Highly recommended.

As EVERYONE else has said, it is REALLY nice to have a product that works EXACTLY as-described by the manufacturer.My property also has in-ground irrigation sprinklers that water the lawn / shrubs, but of course the water also touches other stuff.Because my water has iron it leaves rust stains.I fill the 32 oz ZEP professional pump spray bottle sold at the big box home improvement stores, then spray all the rust stains and the stains disappear. I carefully removed the label from an empty gallon bottle, folded it and taped it around the spray bottle. I use a small plastic funnel to transfer from the gallon bottle to the spray bottle.My long-term usage of this product revealed that eventually the pump sprayer stopped working. My resolution was to submerge the spray assembly in warm soapy water and actuate the lever until normal operation was restored.Depending upon the wind conditions there is a not nice smell that is probably not good. The manufacturer's SDS says: "When used as directed, respiratory equipment should not be needed." I'm not using breathing protection but I get away from the fumes as quickly as possible.When I first started using this on the deep / dark stains I attempted to attain better / lesser usage of the product by using a toothbrush to help the product work better. In my mind on those well-established stains the brushing helped me conserve product.Now it is just a quick spray to attain clean results.It is also used on my painted building walls, where hit by the sprinkler water. I also use it on my flagpole. Everything else, like the concrete curbing the driveway, retains the rust stains.

I have been using the goof off rust off for many years now and this stuff works great . I like that you can spray it and after a minute or two you just rinse it off without having any major scrubbing needed unless you have major rust occurring that has never been cleaned.The price point here is much better than the retail stores. the retailers have more than doubled their pricing in less than 2 years so now I'll be shopping for this on amazon.

This stuff is amazing. We spray it on our fence where our sprinklers hit it, and it instantly removes the rust. No scrubbing needed.
