Single Serve Coffee Maker K Cup and Ground Coffee Compatiable by Sboly

This is my first K-cup machine and I bought it with three packages of coffee/cocoa pods on Amazon Prime Day. It was a good deal until I made my first cup. Well, I used filtered water to go through the system and dumped the water three times. Then I tried making coffee. I tasted it and spat it out right away. How awful. Just like bleach in the coffee. I tried the cocoa and the strong flavor would not cover up the chemical smell. It goes back to Amazon first thing in the morning.

I don't know what is wrong with this coffee maker but when I add water to the chamber pot and select ON it only brews about 4 oz of water/coffee then shuts off. To get a full cup of coffee I have to babysit the machine and keep turning it back on. This morning I had to turn it back on three times just to get one cup of coffee. SOO Annoying! Ready to throw the thing out.

All of the 5-star reviewers for this must have gotten a different version of this than I did. First impression was that it is nice looking but very lightweight compared to the other compact units I've had. When I opened the lid there was a very strong chemical odor from the inside. I ran three mugs of water through it , one being a vinegar solution, but the odor remained. The first mug of k-cup coffee brewed quickly but the offensive odor had also affected the flavor of the coffee. In addition, the top needle tore the top of the k-cup (see pic) letting grounds escape into the coffee. I made FOUR more mugs of coffee and experienced the same problem with each one, including tainted coffee flavor. All were dumped. I am returning it ASAP. DON'T BUY THIS!

Update: The company will not get back to me regarding the broken coffee maker. Amazon says I have to go through the seller and also tried contacting them with no reply as well. The inside piece that punctures the hole in the pod and the water flows through is also broken off. This thing is junk and only worked for a few short weeks. I would like a refund or at least an exchange. Waste of money and zero customer service.After just weeks of use the machine would no longer empty out the full amount of water into my mug. I have to press the button about 3 times just to fill one mug of water. I am so disappointed. I bought this because I thought it would be easier than using my French press, and it would be fun to try using coffee pods. Now I have a dozen boxes of different flavored coffee pods going unused and have resorted to using my French press again because I am tired of sitting there pressing the button at least 3 times just to get one mug of coffee. It's not worth it. Evidently, it's too late to return so I am very disappointed that I spent all the money I did on this. It should have lasted a lot longer than a few weeks. The water temperature is also not very hot, either. Wish I could exchange it or get my money back.

I really like this coffee maker! I can finally fit my large 17 oz. double borosilicate glass mug underneath it, whereas my old Keurig barely fit regular sized mugs. This comes with a basket to brew your own coffee or tea, but you can also use regular k-cups. The machine is easy to use and clean, and you just have to plug it in to get it started. It's an affordable coffee maker that allows you to enjoy a variety of hot beverages within a hot minute.

Awful. I ran cold water through several times because it had a STRONG plastic odor and figured it would clean any debris out. Then I decided to make a cup. I filled my coffee cup with cold water, added it to the pot, put in a coffee pod, hit start. It sounded normal until the end, it got REALLY loud and then it cut off. Very loud but pretty fast. Well, I only had 1/2 cup of coffee (photo shows water still in machine that never brewed). So, I decided to still taste my coffee .... it tasted like plastic. Extremely disappointed in this product because the reviews seemed decent.

I have a drip coffee machine but it's always hard to make coffee just for myself, and after a couple of years it doesn't work anymore so I decided to get a new one. This coffee machine is really nice if you are usually the only person who drinks coffee. You can either put in a K cup or put coffee grounds in the reusable coffee ground holder that came with the machine. The reusable cup is easy to clean too. It makes one cup of coffee really nicely. It doesn't come with a mug but you can easily use your own mug. It turns itself off after making your one cup of coffee. I really like it and would recommend it.

I’m so sad to have to leave a negative review. This machine worked perfectly the first 3-5 times. I didn’t use it for a month or so and now the auto shutoff doesn’t work (for about 8-10 uses now). And I just realized today that water has been leaking out as well (maybe that’s why auto shutoff isn’t working?). My countertop is a color that was camouflaging the pooled water, so I didn’t notice right away. I use pods and the coffee seems fine, but I must admit I’m not a big coffee drinker so mine is mixed with keto cocoa and keto shake mix - not really a valid comment on the quality of the coffee itself. Anyway, it’s after the trade in deadline (bc I didn’t use it for awhile) so I guess I’m going to have to buy a different brand this time. My very first unsuccessful Amazon purchase ever - and I shop here a LOT.
