Low-Cost TIG Welding Argon Flow Meter/Regulator with Gas Hose Kit

I have been fortunate enough recently to receive two or three items of China origin that sort of break the mold of low value to useless junk from Communist China. My newer hand drill by Milwalkee has been excellent and one of my other smaller tools as well. From looking this Flow Meter/Regulator over in the set, it does not have the polished serious quality look of a good Victor, but it does not cost what a new Victor would either. :-) If it works as good as it looks, it will be worth every penney I paid for it. Example of minimalist thinking: The clear flow indicator tube is squared with 4 sides, of which only tow are marked for flow: One for Argon and the other for CO2. This leaves the two other sides with nothing on them, but they could have added other shield gases like Nitrogen flow and Helium too, but they didn't.The hose assembly is a diffent thing all together for it is a high quality Miller Welder Branded hose assembly that will do very well without doubt..... it says it is assembled in the USA. Must mean that they are buying cheaper materials from outside the country to build these hoses.... even so, it is Miller and I do expect quality when ever I see Miller Welder products.Summary: Most of this is off-shore, but does look serviceable, and for the money paid, it will probably work out to be a good deal. If I knew then, what I know now, would I buy it? Probably not. Why? Because if there is any problems or defects found later on..... it will be impossible to get parts in the future: it comes with no paperwork, parts list, or warrantee info at all.... which is very typical of stuff out of Commie China. (As opposed to Taiwanese products.) Buy wisely, and if it fails right away I will edit this post and let you all know. :-)

Will continue to buy this setup as long as I can find it like this. Very handy to put with the package we put together at work. Very handy for us as we need everything in this setup. Highly recommend. Great Value. Shipping was fast and efficient.

Hose connector and flow meater. shipped quickley and looks to be good. I won't be able to try it till the TIG Expendables kit gets here
