Not sure if it’s just me but all of these kids get stuck when screwing on but they eventually screw down. Am I the only one it’s this issue?

Don't screw on easily. I don't like the silicone rings. It takes like 30 seconds to fit right.

Like many other reviewers said, these leak pretty bad. The silicone seal is designed like a U channel so it presses around the inside and the outside of the jar mouth. It definitely does not work at all like this. BUT…I flipped the silicone seal over so the flat side presses against the jar mouth and it seals just fine. Keep in mind these are not for canning and they will not work. These are only for temporary storage.

My family and I use Mason / Ball style jars for many foods and drinks: raw milk, kimchee, sauerkraut, dried beans, nuts, potable water, sauces, dried veggies, yogurt, etc. I noticed the stock rings and lids were rusting badly and transferring food smells and flavors. Like filtered water smelling/tasting like kimchi OR yogurt smelling/tasting like pickled garlic.The solution... These stainless steel lids with food grade silicone seals. Now we have no rust, no need to hand wash and no transfer of food smells or flavors.I have no regrets about buying these and I recommend them others.I sincerely hope this review helps you! I'm not experiencing any issues with screwing them on to my wideouth jars.

I have purchased stainless lids before and these seem more coarsely made than others. Use and a run through the dishwasher has helped, but they still seem to take more effort to get the threads started. That said, flat tops allow for stacking and they do their job. We use mason jars to buy bulk foods and keep dry goods in the cupboard and these suit our needs.

The description says they should fit wide mouth Ball or Mason jars. They really don't.

Love these. Recently bought a second set. They are the most waterproof option I’ve found. The silicon seal has a channel to better grip the jar lip without slipping. (Have some plastic lids with separate silicone gaskets that slip around when tightening and don’t create a great seal.) These are far better. Great for storing anything. Very easy to clean. Just remove the gasket and run them through the dishwasher!
