YLI22901-NAT 2-Ply Soft 60wt Touch Cotton Thread, 1000 yd, Natural

I am a long time user of Soft Touch bobbin thread. This is a quality product and I rely on it every time and it comes through. This product allows for your embroidery to be less puckered. It's strong, flexible and sturdy. It being 100% cotton you can press from the back of the embroidery without a press cloth. I'm guilty of using a very hot iron and this stuff is tough enough for me. This thread is great for heirloom sewing and the quality is impeccable.I always know what I want for Christmas, more Soft touch by YLI. It's what I use for all of my embroidery projects and heirloom sewing.

I am using this for both bobbin thread on my embroidery machine and as a rolled hem on lightweight voile for a three thread edge with my serger making both hankies and altar linens.

This was recommended to me by another sewist on a Facebook group but after attempting to use it in a couple projects, it kept snapping and is pretty much unusable for machine sewing of any kind…don’t waste your money. I should have known by the price and stick to my guns if only buying high quality name brand threads I’ve used and trusted for years.

This is a great thread to use in the bobbin for machine embroidery projects. The YLI lingerie thread was better, but as I cannot seem to find that item any more this thread is the next best thing.

the grey color is more taupe ish but I love this thread to piece when quilting and for my bobbin when FMQ

I use YLI thread for hand and machine piecing. Works great for both!

Not very good thread for hand quilting, but does good for matching peicing

This thread is perfect for bobbin thread, especially when using applique.
