Deggodech Escape Proof Dogs Harness with Leash Set Medium Adjustable Soft Mesh Reflective Pet Dog Walking Harness Lead for Pet Cat Dog Outdoor Training (M, Mesh Grey)

It's a shame that the title says escape proof when it isn't...
My cat would die to go outside but we're tenants so this being a temporary accommodation we don't want her to get used with the area and then move, so I tried this leash to get her out. She seemed to accept it almost straight away (tried with the skinny ones before and the cat was just tumbling around) and although the cat walks a bit funny she can walk and run around with this harness; a bit of an effort when jumping but if it's not too high she still managed. We measured the cat and ordered after their guide size... S size for a 3 kg cat is slightly too big, but we adjusted it to minimum and seemed to do the trick; if we put it too tight the cat wasn't able to move.It would've been a 5 star review if the cat didn't manage to escape from it (TWICE)… After she escaped and spent the night in the cold and kept us worried all night we reconsidered using this harness. It's advertised as escape proof but it clearly isn't.

IT IS DEFINITELY NOT ESCAPE PROOF
The product says it can be used for cats and dogs. Moving to rural Italy with four cats, we needed some security for our cats when they first head outside into a big new world. They have gone from urban UK to wild rural Italy. The first time we used this harness, one cat was very comfortable compared to a previous harness used (too tight and no padding) and I was pleased. A long lead meant she had a good walk and was relaxed. The harness looks well-made and well stitched, and velcroes closed over the body with additional clip fastening which has loops to attach a lead to. It is padded a little and fit well (tight but they can still walk!).However, the next time, she got right out of the harness and escaped. It was terrifying but I got her back quickly. A second cat completely escaped from this supposed "escape proof" harness in minutes, and went missing for days. Thankfully he has been found by a local friend but I was heartbroken before finding him again, and I have cursed this harness many times. IT IS DEFINITELY NOT ESCAPE PROOF.I don't think anything is "escape proof" when it comes to cats and it is dishonest to sell it as such. We all know cats can wriggle their way out of anything. Do not buy this product thinking your cats will be secure. They won't. The same probably applies to ANY cat harness. Cats will get out if they want to, so use extreme caution.

Weard sizings
Bought a small and medium sized ones for a chowwahua cross and a yorkie cross, both tiny dogs, the small is slightly to small for the chowwahua and the medium is slightly too big, the medium is slightly to small for my yorkie and too big for my chowwahua 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 😂 so both have tight harnesses, wouldn't have thought a yorkie would be a large n my chowwahua is just gona have to put on weight other than . That there very good quality and very cute and packaged well and quick delivery gona try the large n see if that works 😂😊♥️

Too big even though ordered based on the guidelines. Good quality though.
I measured my cat to ensure I ordered the correct size but the harness is way too big and will be being returned. It is good quality, I have no idea if a smaller size will be escape proof.

If using for a cat, it's not escape proof!
I bought this harness and an extending lead for my cat to go outside in safety, after one of her brothers died on the road outside. It fits well, but she's discovered that if she can pull to the end of the lead and wriggle enough, she can slip out of the harness. In fairness, there is probably not a harness on Earth that is escape proof for a cat!

Geng-Gus approved
The media could not be loaded. Used fur (see what I did there) alot of hours now by our kitten Gus and it seems he cannae manage to escape yet even though having tried a few times. Medium Fits well and can be adjusted as he grows a wee bit .It is the same product as you can buy from alot of sellers at amazon or other websites so finding it at a price below £8 it seemed like and good buy and it wis. He oddly doesn't mind it around him and even walked in to it withoot the need of force nor treats. I recommend getting a retractable lead also because they are definitely woth it (doesnae need to be an expensive one). Overall I'm surprised at the quality of this item and as I write this review in the garden it seems Geng-Gus the kitten conquer approves. (He is a ragdoll so not much bothers him and he does act more like a dug so if your cat is a wee bit nippy and you got the money get a big hamster ball and see what happens).

Leg holes are quite big for a cat but ok for a small dog
The harness is made of good strong material and would suit a small dog however I brought for my young cat to introduce him to the garden so before I planned to go out side with him I have put it on him a few time to get used to it on him however apart from him going in a strop he managed to get out of it (well go be honest was expecting him to). The small size would be great for a cat or small dog

My cats escaped
It’s great quality but my cats escaped instantly. The arm holes are big, and even though I measured both my cats and bought the size appropriate, they managed to pull their arms through and get out of it.Thankfully I tried these harnesses on them indoors before taking them outside (as you always should do before taking them outside) but unfortunately I’ve had to return them.
