Poor design unfortunately.
Wish I could say this was a quality product. Did lots of research and seemed like it would be good. Unfortunately the design is highly flawed. The fleece lining is held onto the straps with essentially very loose belt loops. So as the dog moves - unless they are perfect healers the harness shifts and wads up. Then the belt starts rubbing or uou are constantly stopping to adjust the fleece liner. All in all good idea- bad design. I also did not read the return policy as I am a spoiled prime member. So out of $50 I will only get $30 back after shipping both ways and restocking. Not really a reason to say try it just because.

New favorite harness.
I went in to my favorite upscale dog boutique about the time that my dog had started to show some reactive behavior. He is a super sweetie, but he reacts to my own anxiety and gets defensive for me (not that I ask him to.) The groomer at the store reccomended this particular harness to me. I had a harness I had gotten from a discount store that hit the dog lower on the back and chafed his armpits. She said the spot on the dog's back where this one hit on his back hit right at the center of gravity and would not add to reactive behavior. However, the store did not have these harnesses in and so my groomer steered me here. The harness arrived in a timely manner and was packaged well. I measured my dog as recommended and the large fits great. My boy is a 60 pound border collie/ACD. I liked how many choices there were to choose from in colors. Dakota allowed me to put it on him immediately and off we went for a walk. He's not a puller, so I can't speak to how it works as a no pull harness, but I can say that his running gait is unaffected. He still runs and jumps perfectly well in this harness. My dog's reactivity issues seem to be less. I'm not sure how responsible the harness is, but my dog can run with me and he is perfectly comfortable in it. He has no chafing and he loves it when I get it out.I like how washable the harness is. We have washed it twice, once because he jumped in a ditch and once when he rolled in a puddle. It is still the same beautiful color. I am pleased with the harness. I find it to be sturdy, well constructed and comfortable for my dog. We are both satisfied customers.

Real Comfortable
Item arrived on time and it a really nice harness! Did not order the customer harness because I did not have the time to wait for it to come in...so I went with the premade fleece harness. Ordered a medium because my dogs chest is 23 inches ...but it is still quite large on her around the neck and cannot be adjusted at the neck. So I will have to purchase a small and increase the straps to their max on the chest but hoping that the neck will fit more snugly. I wanted to use this when biking with my dog and the current med sized one works good in respect to its comfort and protective sheep skin around the chest and underbelly. My chief complaint is that the neck doesn't fit as well as the chest and moves to the side of her body when attached to the bike; so the top of the harness literally is now sitting on her ribs. The sizing instruction DO NOT refer to the fact that the neck cannot be adjusted like the underbelly straps, so I would definitely get a size down when ordering if your dog has the same shape from torso to head ( my dog is a Texas Lacy Hog Dog so her shape is streamline from tail to nose)! For instance my dog was a 23" chest and does not widen out at the neck so the neck on the medium harness has a lot of gap between fabric and her neck...a small says 18-22...which I will assume will be smaller in that area as well. Not trying to talk anyone out of a purchase....it is a quality harness and with the right size will be an asset to any dogs exercise routine!

XS runs 3" small
The good, it seems like a well constructed harness, and it is v neck so should not press on a dog's trachea. The bad, Ohh, the bad. After measuring my dog, and double checking that he still had a 16" girth, I ordered the Xs. Which claims to fit dogs that have a 15 to 17" girth. It arrived and I put it on him and discovered that I could not snap it closed, there was around 2"of space between the one side and the other So I measured the harness and found that it's only 12". I gave it to my friend who has a tiny Chi, while it fits his girth the neck opening is too big.

My dog has a neck condition (called an A-A lux) so his rehab DVM recommended this kind of harness years ago b/c it does not put pressure on his neck. These harnesses are great. I have purchased black, orange, and green. They are awesome and hold up really well. In the 10 years I have had the dog, I have only gone through 3. Highly recommend.

Works Well for My Husky
I have a Husky who can be quite a puller. I use a harness to walk her and when I started looking for a new one for her, I had a specific set of features in mind. It needed to be cut to avoid stressing her shoulders, it needed some padding, and it needed to have super-sturdy buckles. This harness met all the requirements. The buckles, while plastic, are wider than most and seem more reliable than standard-sized buckles, and the metal D ring on the back of the harness is solidly attached. In the more than 30 years that I've lived with Huskies, I've tried pretty much every style harness made. So far, this one looks like it will top the list.

Great, stylish harness, solid quality
Great, stylish harness. I like the fleece lining. It does, however, get thinner over time and use. Harness quality manufacturing is solid, made in the USA. Easy to put on the dog. First over the head, then around the sides. Make sure to take any harness off frequently or it will rub the arm pits of the dog to the point of no more fur growing there. Make sure to measure your dog's neck twice, because the neck piece is not adjustable, and it might end up being too small, particularly if you have a full, double coated dog.
