When I was a toddler I remembered my grandparents always had a bottle of smelling salts handy. I think every home should have a small bottle in the first aid kit. I find it can clear nasal congestion and wake you up when feeling drowsy before a task that requires concentration. Be careful when inhaling the vapor.

Don’t sniff the bottle as soon as you open it!
This stuff is unbelievable. It said smelling salts on the label so I thought it best to find out what they smell like.Have you ever done something you really regret? I flipped the cap off and took a good snort, Apparently I screamed for over a minute. My sinuses opened and my eyes flooded. Not a happy experience.The most excruciating pain that I can only begin to describe was followed by truly monumental quantities of both snot and tears. Herself was also crying. She described it to my sniggering mother as one of the funniest things she had ever seen.Just be careful okay, despite what you may have been led to believe this stuff really isn’t for delicate ladies who swoon. In fact, it should probably be described as industrial strength. Nothing and nobody is safe while the lid is off…
