AWESOME - Planet friendly and taste neutral.
These are awesome. I have been brewing with a Chemex Pot for years because of the superior clarity in the cup of coffee. The filters are not cheap, but their thickness made them the only option for that superior clarity - or so I thought. These work EQUALLY well, and there is no repeated wasted or expense. I poured my first brew with this through the normal filter to see if this left any little bits behind - It did NOT!!. THANK YOU for an amazing product!!!

Reduces waste, easily reused
These are easy to use like a regular filter. You can dump used grounds in the compost and reuse the sock after rinsing. They do become clogged with oil and grounds fter a while, but are easily washed in a dishwasher. We've been very happy with the quality of the brew.

A good reusable alternative to Chemex paper filters
I've been using these for a couple of weeks now and am so far really happy with them. I noticed a slightly different flavor to my coffee the first couple of brews- not bad, just different- but now I can't taste the difference. My husband is really picky about coffee and he hasn't complained. To use, first I wet the filter with hot water from the tap and slightly wring out. After brewing, I dump the grounds into the compost bin and then rinse with hot water until it comes out clear, wring out as much water as I can, and hang over a spoon in my utensil crock. It takes more time than a paper filter, but I estimate that even with paying a higher price than currently listed ($18.99 vs $12.99) we will save money, considering how pricey Chemex paper filters are!Update:Almost six months later and I'm still using the first coffee sock from the pack, with no fraying or noticeable wear besides coffee stains. We brew 1-2 pots a day and it has held up beautifully and saved a ton of money compared to expensive Chemex paper filters. Every couple of weeks (I should probably do this more) I deep clean it by putting it in a pot of boiling water on the stove for a few minutes. The coffee stains are pretty set-in, but after boiling, any residual coffee odor is gone and it looks a lot brighter and the next pot of coffee does taste a bit cleaner.

CoffeeSock's so good I've ordered a 2nd set
After four years of 1st set, I'm ordering a 2nd set because the CoffeeSock's so good I had to order a 2nd set of two. They do NOT change the flavor of your coffee.Keep them clean after each use, and they'll last a lot longer than the 1 year mentioned in their product description.A truly superb product that will allow you to quickly enjoy your coffee, which, of course, is one of the reasons to celebrate life.

The BEST! Buy it!!!!
The media could not be loaded. It works very well, I’m so glad I don’t have to buy a box of $20 disposable Chemex filters anymore. We use this for hot pour over and our cold brew method. The material great quality and they’re well made. My husband is big fan too and complimented my idea on buying these. Comes with two which is a great deal and we wash by hand with dish soap and let it dry on your dish rack! Once hubby threw it in the washer thinking, and I didn’t see it amongst the towels, that was a horrible idea we had to throw that coffee batch away, so anyway, it really should be hand washed at all times. PLEASE consider these, it’ll save you money and they’re Very eco friendly.

Eco-friendly and Economical
I was going through the paper Chemex filters so fast that it bothered me how wasteful it was becoming, and expensive! The Coffee sock stopped being effective after a few months and I found that soaking them in neutral soapy water and then finishing with vinegar water, then a good rinse in clean water helped remove most of the oils that built up from the coffee.

Best alternative to Chemex papers
If you use this you won't be brewing Chemex coffee because Chemex coffee is created by the Chemex papers - but if the papers are difficult to find, or exorbitantly expensive, this is the best alternative.
