I am a quilter and I have more than one sewing machine. For reasons not important to this review, I did not save the original customized boxes these came it. That means that preparing my best sewing machine for a 5,000-mile journey was a challenge. These foam blocks provided the exact amount of stability and cushioning needed to keep the machine firmly in the center of the box, tightly hugged by these foam blocks. No movement possible! Maybe this is an off-label use for these, but I ordered them for this purpose and they did not disappoint.

I used the foam to enclose the cold air plenum in my RV travel trailer. It forces the air directly into the ducts. Worked like a charm!

My project with this foam is half done so I can't fairly rate it yet. I measured and cut the foam for outdoor use, with plastic flowers. Some of the foam pieces were dented and deformed a little, which didn't matter to my project but also why just 4 stars. The foam was easy to work with.

Great product easy to work with. Using this as my base for a wargaming table.

These forms work perfectly for platforms for my Lemax Village under the Christmas Tree. I can stack as many as I want to build the landscape and then cover them with white under the tree sheets that look like snow. I saved so much money with these instead of purchasing the regular Lemax platforms. I will probably order more of these; they work great for me and much easier to store once the display is put away. I wanted the foam for this DIY entryway board that I can change up seasonally. The styrofoam blocks were the perfect depth and width for this project. I glued 2.5 pieces to the board and then covered with cloth. Now I can use this over and over to change up whenever I want.The blocks are 1" thick and glued down nicely using my glue gun. The final piece on the bottom didn't need the full block, but it was easy to cut down to the right size. I just used a pocket knife and the cut was nice and clean. Since these are styrofoam, they should be pretty tolerable for use outdoors where my board will be, though it will be displayed in a covered by my door.

I use and have used this material in working on scale model aircraft. It's useful in making dioramas, but shaping and cutting tends to be a pain because it shreds and distorts so easily. Maybe it's just me, but I prefer the thicker (blue) insulation -- much easier to cut and shape.

I look forward to using these foam sheets for my dioramas. They seem to be a very good size and thickness and will work perfectly! With there being seven I will be using them on more than one diorama. Not a bad price either.
