Joe Chiodo Artwork: Shape, Color and Form

I bought this book for the sole intention of studying Chiodo's style and composition. It's a really good way to see the details and apply some of the techniques on to your own compositions. This book does not give you techniques or instructions. It basically is your own personal Chiodo's art gallery at your convinience. If your looking for something to inspire you or make you think, "how in the world do you get a painting to look like Chiodo's?"... this is it.

I was expecting more images of his girls as we have come to know him. This is more a general view of his career and there are lots of examples of his experimentations and endeavors into portrayals/ oils that i wasn't particularly interested in. He is a great artist, don't get me wrong. it is just that was interested in his comic book girls series more than anything else.

I am a Joe Chiodo fan. Love the work: color, design, etc. Buy it.
