X-Loop HD Active Frame Sports Wrap Sunglasses (Matte Black)

The glasses themselves are awesome. I have only worn this type of lense since my first pair of "as seen on tv" HD Visions, 7 years ago. Colors are vibrant, green grass is greener, a gloomy day is almost sunny, and they even help at night with glare. My only complaint is that they are so hard to get in the mail unscathed. 2 out of 3 pairs that I have gotten on here and ebay have arrived scratched. My most recent pair were actually unusable due to a huge scratch in the right lense. Returns are free, but who wants to go through all that trouble for a 10 dollar pair of shades? Try a pair, if you can get a good pair. They are pretty cool.

I got these for about 6 bucks (including shipping). I wanted a very inexpensive pair of shades to mow and trim with. This fits the bill 100%. They feel durable. If you like the amber tinted shades, it does what they normally do. Make green items greener and take away the glare of the sun, making it feel like there is less strain on your eye. You are not going to win a fashion show with these glasses, but for outside work it does its job of protecting your eyes.

I love the way the glasses fit and look through the lenses. Kind of easy to break right under the lens, maybe because I have to spread it open to fit. I did buy two of them and think it’s a good price for the glasses

Quality

I was really hoping these would be better for sun protection than they are. The gradient amber (dark grade from top to bottom) is a bit distracting while driving. Maybe it's just me, but stop lights are not as pronounced as they are without these on, and that could be an issue if you are not attentive. I suppose a blue shade might have a different effect, but overall, under bright sunlight conditions, these are not sufficient as good sunglasses. They are too weak, and I find myself squinting while wearing them. These are best for overcast days, early morning, or early evening, not for mid-day sun. I do like that they claim these as full UV protection, and that's a good point, but, if the lens' are not dark enough, they are rendered useless under our Arizona summer sun.

This is the second pair I've ordered... the last pair I had for over 12 months only just scratched them and I wear them every day... Still wear those for work... HD lenses ae the best in all lighting conditions... even at night... cuts down headlight glow,... get compliments everywhere I go.

I have purchased quite a few of these over the years on here. Usually order a few at a time so that I always have a new pair available. I opened these when I was ready for a new pair and the first one snapped as I put the on. Opened the next pair and the same thing happened. Of course I am outside the return window. Would never have thought to try them to make sure they would be ok before putting them away until needed.....I would appreciate a contact from the supplier and replacements. Thanks.

great lens
