Lined Calligraphy Practice Paper: Calligraphy Paper Pad For Beginners, Slanted Calligraphy Paper 150 Sheets for Script Writing Practice

I taught art to young adults for 25 years. During this time I taught calligraphy. After my retirement I decided to give poems that express my love for my children to them. Its been awhile, so I decided to bone up on my calligraphy. I selected the 3 titles I m reviewing as a teacher and an artist. I felt they would be an excellent resource for myself because rusty would be a kind description of my lately unpracticed skills. Upon receipt of the 3 inexpensive texts for refreshing my skills, with guides and practice sheets, I was pleased with the scope of the review lessons and happy about their text's moderate prices. For a person who'd never attempted caligraphy, the lessons can be easily understood, and I purchased enough practice paper to get me through simple beginner lessons and more for new letter practice. Any beginner and "RUSTY" person could get good practice and make good progress with the supplies I d purchased. The unlined writing layout pad has good paper for pen and ink writing and shouldnt bleed the ink through to the next page. Good supplies are enhanced with good posture; feet flat on the floor, sleeves rolled up to avoid ink stains on clothes, and spread out a thick layer of newspaper to protect your writing surface (5 to 12 overlapping sheets). Relax, have fun, dont rush, or give up. Rest when your fingers, neck, or back needs it. Sucess will soon follow.

I bought this to practice pen and ink calligraphy, but the ink bleeds too much. I’ll use it eventually because it’s ok for some of the calligraphy markers, but definitely not for dip pens.

I didn't like this pad for ink calligraphy for two reasons: the quality of the paper is not very good to work with ink and also it bleeds to the other pages, so it doesn't work for ink calligraphy. It may work for pencil or markers but not for ink.

Me llegó rapidísimo! Está muy padre, pero es para usar con lápiz, porque se pasa la tinta a las siguientes hojas inmediatas...

This paper is poor quality. Ink bleeds easily and grid angles are not at 55* so useless to roundhand and copperplate script calligraphy students.
