TurboCAD Deluxe 2019 2D Design & 3D Modeling CAD Software for Windows

Have just started to work with the program and like the way it handles inputs. So far it is very user friendly.

If you are familiar with AutoCAD, you will be right at home with Turbo CAD. I'm of the opinion that Turbo Cad is the poor man's version of AutoCAD.

Nothing appeared on desktop when disk was inserted in drive. I tried using run and explorer methods. Message said insert drive with disk ready in drive. I tried contacting ISMI. Phone says to used online support and online support will not accept a message. I paid $149 for the Deluxe 2019. I am glad I did not buy the professional at $1000 because their is no support system.

I’ve used Acad, this has what I need to accomplish what I am used too.

The first experience I had with the TurboCAD software product made by IMSI Design should get a -1 or 0 rating. I was first surprised it came on a DVD - so 1990's. The program refused to load and requested out of date Microsoft update packages from 2012 and 2015. After installing the updates the program continued to request them and failed to load. When I finally did get an e-mail response from IMSI tech support (1 hour and 40 minutes later) I was told to load another more recent Microsoft update package, which I did. CAD program would not load and still wanted the MS updates . Tech support was slow on my further inquiries.Update: Although it took days I was able to get a satisfactory resolution with a fully functioning downloaded program from IMSI so I have no need to return product and therefor upgrade my experience to three stars.

Software is so slow it defeats the purpose of using. No online explanation for cause or fix. Would never buy again.

I have maintained a copy of Turbocad since V1.1. It has grown in size and complexity with each new version. The latest one is very difficult to use. It now has so many bells and whistles that just trying to produce a drawing is a major chore. It is slow to perform even the most basic drawing functions. I have had a problem outstanding since I installed the 2019 version and have yet to receive a response from 'Support'. I am ready to dump it.
