This was the first brand of Matcha that I ever purchased. I was researching things for weight loss and just started drinking green smoothies about a month prior. I wanted to add something because I wasn't seeing any weight loss results from the daily smoothie. After the first use I lost 1 lb. Then, for the next few days I lost a pound a day after drinking one smoothie a day and using an app to keep me accountable. Once your body adjusts to what you're doing, you will not continue to lose a pound a day but if I stay on track, I still lose a pound every 2-3 days. It's amazing. If I run out of this, the weight loss stops. If I switch brands, the weight loss stops. This is an absolute God send. Sometimes my son and husband use it and they also, notice a difference right away...the day after using it. If you've ever had doubts, put them aside and buy this. There are many that are cheaper but I have tried them...they don't work. I'm not sure what it is but this is different and whatever it is that makes it different makes all the difference in the world. I'll be a life-long customer. I have been taking it for about five days, so far it is a slow go weight loss, it is working, and I'm fine with that. Staying on track withexercise and diet is a bit of challenge, previously when I start to see that the weight is coming off I start slacking off. This time I ammaking a sincere effort to lose the weight, it's only 10 to 15 pounds that needs to come off, but to feel and look better it does need to come off.I have high hopes for Matcha. If you need to see how I am doing in a month that would be fine.

I use matcha powder everyday in my matcha, maca smoothies. I ordered this matcha powder from Epic Matcha, because my local health food store was out of the brand I normally use. This company is OUTSTANDING!!! Not only did I get super yummy organic matcha powder that was everything I hoped it would be, I received a thank you card, hand written, by the owners. This was above and beyond my expectations. This is a company that understands the importance of great customer service in a world of impersonal online shopping. Although I prefer to shop locally and try to do so as much as possible, it is also important to me that I support small companies that are in align with my beliefs and values. I'm so disappointed in this matcha! I've been drinking matcha for a few years now and I've tried many different brands with varied results but honestly this is the worst.As soon as I opened the bag and saw the color of this tea I was disappointed. Instead of a bright vibrant green it was a muddy brownish green. That in itself is a good indicator of the quality or lack there of quality. I decided to go ahead and make my frappachino in the usual way. It was not good. I found it had very little flavor and the flavor it did have was stale and muddy unlike the bright fresh "green" flavor of other teas.Before I ordered this tea I read ALL the reviews and all I can think is either I got a bad batch or the reviews were for some other tea.If you love green tea as much as I do I sincerely suggest you buy a different tea than this one.ps I went back to take a second look at the reviews for this tea and all I can figure out is that I must've got a bad batch. In the reviews the pictures show a dark green tea but that definitely was not the case with mine. The color was a light brownish green at best. The flavor as I said wasn't good and I found it necessary to use a ton of sugar just to make it palatable.

It doesn't have the greatest taste but it's not terrible tasting. I've found that mixing it with yogurt or making a tea with honey works pretty good. I've only used it for about a week but, I have noticed that I'm sleeping better and waking more refreshed and my weight loss has increased. I was very impressed with the company (EpicMatcha.com). They delivered the product promptly and yesterday I received a hand-written Thank You card from them thanking me for my purchase.

I don't normally write reviews even if I like the product. This Product is so good and I love the energy that I get from it. I use it daily and will definitely order it again. I love this Matcha. Tried it on a whim. Now I have it every morning in hot water & sometimes in the afternoon if I need a bit of a pick-me-up. It's tastier & less gritty than another brand I bought so I strongly recommend Epic Matcha. I also like the pouch packaging as opposed to Matcha that comes in a can or a cardboard drum with a lid - which can never be smoothly opened without a major yank on the lid that then spills some of the tea. I just reordered. My first order lasted for two months.
