It's a fairly sturdy unit, but needs to be taken in during bad weather or winter as it's metal with a thin coat of paint. I fixed ours to a fence to make it more secure so left it outside and now it's all rusty.

It's a really great shelf and does the job it was designed to do. Just be aware that the distance between shelves is not that large so this is only suitable for smaller plants.

I assembled this myself, took 5 minutes, you really don't need instructions - it's very self-explanatory.I bought this to hold all my seed trays in the porch as currently I don't have a green-house.After spending an age looking at all the plant stands, this was by far the best priced stand, and actually is really sturdy. Thoroughly recommend. Many thanks!

Quick to assemble. Am using it in the garden so have had to stabilise it with string to concrete posts as the wind could easily blow it over. Great little unit if you have limited space.

Recommend this. I managed to assemble it myself. Put single bar at the top on first. Then put storage rack on the floor on its side. Starting with smallest shelf. This way could drop screws in the hole and gravity meant they are straight, so easy to screw in to shelf. Did one side, turned rack over onto other side on the floor to attach other end of shelf. Had to hold the legs in to get to right point to attach smallest shelf. That is why recommend starting with this, was worried might not have the right tension if i started with largest shelf. Very useful and space saving in small garden. All screws fitted the holes, had one spare.

It was well fabricated and therefore easy to assemble. It is sufficiently sturdy to carry medium sized plant pots.But the plastic slip-on feet did not fit tightly to the uprights and fell off between assembly and its final positioning. I have yet to find two of them.

I was a bit perturbed that the side struts needed so much 'encouraging' to get them to line up with the drill holes in the shelves. Literally had to use my full body weight to flex it so the holes lined up. If you offer up the shelves they are noticeably smaller than the width of the side supports. Easy enough to put together though. Not sure I want to be around if the bolts fail and it all pings apart. Feels sturdy now it's all together. Time will tell if it rusts or not (am not convinced the bolts will last)
