Fellow Barber Aftershave Lotion moisturizes and promotes healing. Use liberally after a shave to add much-needed moisture and soothe any rawness. Light formula won't cake up on face or facial hair. Doesn't have a strong bite, so it's suitable for use even on the days you don't shave. Naturally scented with essential oils.

Natural Shine
Great product, light hold but leaves a really nice natural shine - probably best for mid to long hair styles - Would not recommend for very short hairstyles unless hair has natural curl/volume.

How You Doin'? I Stopped Having a Cow and Upgraded to Fellow Barber Styling Cream, That's How I'm Doin'!
I don't write reviews, but I had to for this stuff. I have the curliest, driest, puffiest hair on planet earth and I've been trying to tame it for years. This is the ONLY stuff that has worked perfectly. In a few short minutes I go from Larry David in the 70's to Johnny Depp in the 90's. The only downside I can find is that this product makes the consumer use outdated references, yada yada yada two thumbs up!

Completely useless product
I don’t write many product reviews, but this product was so bad that I thought I had to. Honestly, I found it to be completely useless. My hair doesn’t need much hold, but this stuff has zero hold. It did absolutely nothing. Plus, it has a pretty strong smell. Not a bad smell. Just strong. Used it for a week or so and then just tossed it out. Live and learn.

Not necessarily defective, but a major formula change
My husband and I used to use this every single day until last year when FB changed the formula. To call it a formula change is a bit of an understatement; it is a completely different product type now. It's so thick that it's almost a wax. It should no longer be referred to as a cream. It's incredibly stiff, hard to work into your hair, and smells different. No wonder people in recent reviews suspect a defective batch. I did at first. FB finally added a note to the product page on their website alerting customers to the formula change. We miss the clean, natural, and unique herbal scent and performance of the old formula.I was able to get my hands on a few tubes of the old formula months ago, and we're now finishing the last unit. I'm trying to figure out a replacement because we can't use the new version (of which we have 3 full tubes in the linen closet).

Like not washing your hair for 4 days, but smells nicer!
Coming from martin + goetz hair cream, this is a great product with a bit more affordable price. Martin + goetz still smells the best and operates better than any cream I've ever tried, but the Fellow Barber cream is more than sufficient, and has a unique licorice like smell. The hold is solid and a bit stronger than creams I've used before, but still nothing close to products which are meant to "hold" (e.g. gells, pomade, styling cream, etc.). Overall this is a great product for those of us with thick & wavy (but sometimes frizzy) hair, who need a bit more hold. I would say the application gives you a similar feeling to not having washed your hair for 4 days; perfect.-Update-Nov-2016--Still really like this hair cream after I've used it for several months and gone through the whole bottle. Again, a great option for a bit more affordable of a price.

No control at all
If you don't like any hold at all then this stuff is for you. It's leave a nice shine in your hair but there is just not enough control in it. It smells like Rosemary too.

Worse, if I used too much the gel would ...
I have thin, medium length, slightly curly hair that looks frizzy even when short. Prior to using styling cream, I had resorted to using cheap gels to add weight and control. The trouble with those products were once they started loosing the hold (e.g. wind, water, humidity, or a really long day, etc), the frizz would reappear. Worse, if I used too much the gel would sometimes flake giving the appearance of dandruff. My barber had recommended that I try a pomade or good styling cream with several recommendations, this being one of them. I gave this stuff a shot and have been mostly happy with the results.Pros: The hold is firm but not brittle, adds plenty of weight without flattening my hair, and it lasts all day through most of the above conditions gels haven't. I apply this after towel drying my hair and it sets quickly without a lot of shine. Once set the hair keeps it's basic form and is easy to manage.Cons: Unlike gels which after setting and dry seem to leave no trace they were used (unless overused, see above), you can still feel this product in your hair. Also I wouldn't mind if this was a little cheaper. Those are really my only complaints about this product.
