Reverse Umbrella - Inverted Umbrella - Upside Down Umbrella with Stand Alone Feature - Inside Out Umbrella with Aluminum Shaft

This umbrella is EVERYTHING! I live in SoCal but travel to the Pacific Northwest bimonthly. The rain and wind are pretty notorious compared to Southern California. Because my hair is extra long, i find that my hair always gets caught in the metal arms of the typical umbrella. With this way this umbrella is designed, i dont have to worry about that anymore. If you have little kids who have gotten their little fingers caught in the arms of umbrellas, this one is for you. Just like everyone else has said, the design of this umbrella is ideal for getting in and out of the car, it really keeps you dry. It is also a big umbrella with a strong design.... if youre in a windy place, and umbrellas fail due to wind... this one will def stand up to it. The color is super vibrant and just a little bit on the "Carnation pink" than this bright pink that is pictured here... but it is so pretty.

I was excited to get this umbrella and after receiving it, I love it. It is very sturdy construction and the fabric is good quality. I bought the pink one. The handle lets me hang the umbrella from my baby stroller and or keep my hands free when holding it. It is a reverse style umbrella so it needs somewhere after use it can stand up to dry the black side. It is not compact / won't fit in a bag but is a great umbrella to have when you know it is going to rain. The reverse is awesome for ducking into a car and not getting everything wet!

Where I live we get our fair share of rain, snow, & especially WIND because of the "lake effect" combined with flat terrain. I usually buy an inexpensive umbrella b/c I know they won't last. Because of this umbrella's unique design, I took a chance & am glad I did. It is sturdy-from the covering to the stem to the handle-all seem like quality construction. I'm confident the spokes and/or stem won't bend. I do wish it were a little smaller, b/c it is a bit cumbersome to carry. Definitely not a purse or computer bag umbrella. But the tradeoff is more coverage overhead. I like the solid handle that makes it easy to grasp & put my arm through to still carry something else at the same time. It has a small cutout section to hang it on a bag, but I don't find this especially necessary. I really like the release button-to put it up & take it down. Not a button to automatically unfold it-these inevitably seem to malfunction, making them pointless-but a button to lock it in place both in the up & down positions-keeping it secure & in place. Love the wider strap with velcro that wraps around it in the down position. So much easier than those narrow strips that are on most umbrellas--makes it easier to wrap & keeps it as compact as possible for a larger umbrella. One down side is that the umbrella folds in on itself when taking it down, so you will need to leave it propped open to fully dry at some point, otherwise mildew could form on the outside if it's never given the chance to fully dry. I like the bright pop of color on the underside when it's up, too, which will be the color of the umbrella you carry when not in use. So if you don't want to walk around with a bright pink umbrella when it's closed, make a note & order accordingly. But who doesn't want a bright pop of color when walking in rain or snow?

Love this umbrella! I'd seen it several times via commercial and finally ordered one last week. Just in time, too, since last week was rain almost every day. It works just as it says it will - easy to open and keeps you drier when you get in your car compared to a traditional umbrella. My only complaint is that it's a little hard to close - you have to really tug it down to get it to snap.Oh, and just a word of warning - I ordered the pink because in the pictures, it looks more of a purple-pink. Rest assured, it is PINK pink. Like, baby doll, bubblegum pink. So, I kinda hate the color, but I did it to myself, I guess. If I order another, I'd go for the green or blue, as I'm not a pink kind of person.

I actually saw one of these inverted umbrella for the first time when a friend was carrying one, and I was instantly intrigued and had to have one for myself! This umbrella did not disappoint. There is not much that one can say about an umbrella, but I find the quality of this one sturdy, and the inverted design innovative. I have already used it during several bouts of rain, ranging from light to heavy (the dog has gotta go regardless of the weather) and it does not collapse in on itself when the wind is powerful. The handle makes it easy to manage when one's hands are full (again, gotta walk that dog) and the inverted design keeps me from spilling water all over the hallway of my apartment; I love that I can just close the umbrella and pour the water out outside on the porch or in my garden. Prevents extraneous puddles- would definitely purchase this again!

I LOVE IT!!! No seriously, I do. I have been waiting for one of these to come out ever since I saw the youtube video years ago with an inventors prototype. It is sooooo nice NOT to get dripped on profusely when folding up the umbrella. I want to get a second one so that I can keep one in my house too! LOLIf you've been pondering whether to get it - do so. I also love that they come in various fun colors, not just black. My mom has the light blue one and I have orange. With all the rain we've been having lately, I've been giving it a workout! :D

I've had to delay writing this review because my kids confiscated my umbrella so I couldn't test it out for myself. Well, I finally was able to get it away from them to give it a proper look. Wow, this umbrella is amazing. I love how it stands up and self-drains the water when you collapse it. I also like how the boring black is on the top and I can look at the pretty color of my umbrella when it's open. As far as size goes, I was looking for a larger umbrella that wasn't as large as a golf umbrella but was bigger than the compact style you can find at your local grocery store. This was a great marriage of size, function, and cool inside-out-ness. The quality is excellent, given my kids haven't destroyed it yet and has been tossed around several cars and in and out of my office during the spring rains. I'm looking forward to holding onto this one for several years to come.
