I purchased 2 of the genuine whirlpool filters from Amazon in 2015 and paid £13.35 per filter.Imagine my shock when I went to reorder some more only to find that they are nearly £40 each!!Saw this at less than a £10 and took the plunge.Initial impressions are that it is a perfect fit, comes very well packed and appears to do exactly the same job for a quarter of the price.It's a no brainer really.

Arrived on time as usual. Straightfoward to replace the existing filter, and as usual changing the filter has given us back our ice-making function. Only minor issue to note that the end of this filter does not have the groove that the OEM version has so you can't replace the cover to mask the filter. Since this is at ground level, it's not a huge problem, but don't recall this being mentioned in the listing

This is the first time I've used a non-Whirlpool filter in almost 10 years, but so far there have been no issues. The filter fitted without a problem and water flow rate has been fine.No idea if it will need replacing sooner or not, but given it is massively cheaper than the Whirlpool original, I'll take that chance!

Previously I have purchased the filter that matches the brand of the fridge but I could not justify the price. Saw this - thought I would give it a go and it is fantastic. Looks exactly the same as the usual one, fits easily, water tastes great and it is SO much cheaper. I will definitely be buying this again next time.

After reading other reviews and shopping around I found this product matched my needs perfectly and was also a lot cheaper than manufacturers own brand. It arrived quickly, was a simple swap with the original and so far works very well. Would highly recommend and will use again. Thank you.

Arrived quickly. Fitted easily to my Hotpoint fridge and at a fraction of the price of the branded one. I am very pleased.

This has replaced my Samsung original water filter. It was easy to install and so far, everything seems fine. So consider it to be excellent value!

Well priced product, needs flushed through a few times before it settles but this is normal. No discernible difference in water taste between this and the original.
