Work great!
I had a sick hen and needed a syringe (now I have a complete first aid kit). I was surprised to find that Tractor Supply does not carry a syringe for very small animals EVEN THOUGH THEY SELL CHICKENS. I had a sick hen that needed medication injected, so I had to wait for these to arrive from amazon. Exactly what I needed and I keep these stocked in my first aid kit now. PROS: - seem well made - seems to be a hard to find size so thankful they were available here CONS: - I could not find any. These have a simple function and did the job. I would recommend you buy these if you have poultry or small animals who will get sick and need injections.

Perfect for Hand-Feeding our Baby Cockatiels!!!
Purchased these syringes for hand feeding our new baby Cockatiels. The size of the syringes are perfect for their tiny beaks! The syringes that are sold and marketed for hand feeding birds are just too big and the tips just never fit in their beaks right. When we hand fed our cockatiels years ago, the vet gave us syringes similar to these and we wanted to find them again. Luckily we found the right size on Amazon and could not be happier! Our cockatiels that are mated for life had set up a nest and laid 2 eggs. It has been a few years since we had baby birds so my husband and I decided to keep the eggs and let them hatch. Having raised all of our cockatiels we knew the essentials that we needed and this 1ml Syringe was one of them. Having looked on Amazon instead of our local pet store we found this brand and decided to buy a box in advance before the babies hatched so that we would know if these syringes would fit our needs and to our surprise they were better than we thought they would be! Once it was time for us to take over the parent's job of feeding the babies, the syringes really worked at getting all the baby formula in their beaks without any problems. The formula stayed in their beaks without leaking out and also because the tips are tiny we did not have to worry about injuring their fragile beaks. The beaks are very soft when they are first born so having the right size syringe is very important. As the weeks passed on we kept using these syringes and did not go to a larger size. Even now that our cockatiels are several months old they still like to be fed with this syringe. We always give our cockatiels formula several times a week to keep them healthy and they love eating it out of the syringe instead of the dish, that the other cockatiels eat out of. We purchased 4 boxes of these syringes and never had a problem with them not working. They were always delivered on time too! They come in a nice white box that is easy for storage as well. These are syringes that I would recommend to any bird owner who is or will be hand feeding.

Great Product for a low price!
I am not a doctor or in the medical field,so I am not too sure about the accuracy in measurement. I use these to administer my dogs medications since they are both so little and don't handle pills well. I was very impressed with how well they have held up so far. The medical grade one I got from my mom (shes a nurse) was not as nice as these. It broke after about a week of usage. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs syringes for any reason. I also was just hoping that since I left a review a buzzer would go off at the BSTEAN office and Tony will start his golf clap, the warehouse guy will do pushups, David will hug a pretty girl, Lisa will get her shot of Tequila (she probably needs one since it is a Monday), and last but not least a homeless kitty will get a hug and maybe even a new home if said hug goes well.

Good for Avian Medicine, Use with SealSafe Orifice Reducers
I use these to administer oral medicine to a cockatiel. They say single use, but I can use them for a couple weeks or so without replacing, as long as I pull the plunger out and rinse them thoroughly after each use. After a couple weeks, the rubber stopper starts to stick, and the plunger doesn't dispense as well. I suggest using these in conjunction with "SealSafe Pierced Bottle Closures 20mm," which I get from Health Care Logistics (gohlc dotcom). You have to authorize shipping costs independently there, but they work well with these syringes.

Will be purchasing in the future
I bought these to fill with breast milk so I could freeze them and use as a back up emergency supply for my little one, I used majority of the box I purchased, only down fall was I didn’t have enough caps to use all the syringes which is why I didn’t give a full 5 star review. Other then the missing caps I highly recommend these, they are easy to use, great quality and gets the job done.

Did the job
So these were used for something other than medicine. They did the job.

Finally.....a great syringe for our dog.
Our little rescue dog has congestive heart failure and seizures. She takes medication 3 times a day. She doesn't like it! LOL I have used several different brands of syringes and these, by far, are the best I've used for her. Even though she has meds that are suppose to be "chewable" when she even hears the lids come off she runs in the other direction. I have to grind all her pills, add water and give them to her via syringe by mouth. The longer tips, the slender build of the syringe and the ease of the plunger make this daily chore much easier for us both. I will continue to purchase these for as long as we need them. They are quality syringes at an affordable price. Thanks a million!

Perfect for administering cat's meds
My poor cat has megacolon and he's on three different medications, twice a day, for the rest of his life. 2 to help his condition, 1 for pain. The 1 pain med is kind of thick and the syringe struggles to get it out and it takes some force to squirt it out. A solution: rather than fill it full 1ml, I do small little chunks of it and it squirts out easier; I'll do .2, .2, .2.,.2,.2 at a time rather than try to squirt down a full 1ml that gets stopped up. Try it that way, it may work for you. I know these are non-sterile but with the prescription medications, food, supplies my budget can't sustain the other individually wrapped sterile ones. We end up using between 10-13 syringes per day. Thank goodness for the bulk pricing on these. Hey, seller, consider a larger bulk size for those of us with special needs animals! : )
