Glucosamine is a basic component of glycosaminoglycans, proteoglycans and hyaluronic acid, all of them structural substances that are part of connective and bone tissue, among others. Chondroitin is the main glycosaminoglycan in cartilage and an important component of tendons and ligaments. CondroCol contains 500 mg of glucosamine sulphate per tablet provided through 667 mg of glucosamine sulphate 2KCl. This is an important fact, because many times it does not come well detailed in many products, being the amount of glucosamine sulphate (and not that of your 2KCl Glucosamine Sulfate Salt) which gives us the power of the product. We have also selected the form of "sulphate" because it provides an extra source of mineral sulfur (very present in connective tissue) and because it is the most commonly used form in scientific studies.
