Alera ALE Shelf Liners For Wire Shelving, Clear Plastic, 48w x 18d (Pack of 4)

I ordered this for a bakers rack that I have and it fit like a glove! Now I can sit anything on that bottom rack without worrying that it might turn over or fall through. It fell right into place when I laid it on top of the shelf and holds up well under weight. Awesome!

I'm not very DYI, I get overwhelmed by what others consider a quick and easy deed and I procrastinate every little project. Having our fifth new construction house and fed up with things tipping over on the wire shelving in our pantry, I finally ordered a 4-pack of these. I pulled one shelf of panty products out today and thought I'd just take on one shelf. But cutting and fitting the mat on the shelf was so quick and easy that I did all four and wish I had more (I'm going to order more right now!...) Instant improvement in my pantry! I had to trim and inch or so off here and there to fit them, but they cut super easy and I didn't micro-measure or anything - just eyeballed it and cut and then tweaked a little and they don't look wonky or anything on the shelves - fit and look great! BTW, several months ago I ordered a more sturdy, complex system to cover the shelves and never opened it - never wanted to bother with it. My husband took one look at it and blew it off - and he's the project guy around here! I shouldn't have spent the cash on the fancier option - I should've just gone with these mats to begin with

These things fit our wire self so well! They feel sturdy and haven't moved since we put them on. We use our shelves for homeschool and the shelves get lots of use by my 3 active kiddos. The liners have kept their shape and stayed in place. I'm grateful I ordered these. I'd recommend them.

I ordered this and two similar products at the same time from Amazon, because I wanted options and I was fearful based on reviews that they were all going to be too thin and I'd have to stack two per shelf for more rigidity (this didn't turn out to be the case with any of the ones I received). I have over a dozen shelves in the garage and basement, so I knew the extras wouldn't go to waste. But these Alera liners were the best of the bunch - and they were also the least expensive and quickest to arrive! They arrived in a flat cardboard box, so I didn't have to wait for them to "relax" like the two others (one of which arrived rolled in a box, the other in a shipping tube). Previously, I had been using cardboard to line the shelves - but they were looking pretty tatty from things like oil and cleaning solutions leaking onto them over the years. These look fantastic, and they are every bit as functional as my crappy cardboard ever was. Plus, they can be easily wiped off, and because they are semi-transparent, a lot more light makes it to the back of the shelves. Definitely will order more of these Alera if I need them!

These shelves will add more storage space for my particular use.

I used this on my Quantum Storage wire rack. It is perfect. One side is grippy, which I place face-down to encourage the mat to stay in place. The other side is smooth, which I find useful to slide objects around on it. There are circular cutouts at the four corners which perfectly accommodate the corner poles. You can judge if the price is right, but the product is very good.

This set of 4 liners fits my wire shelving unit (18" deep x 48" wide) perfectly! No need to trim or adjust these clear plastic shelve liners. The liners have one side that is flush, and the other has a slight texture to it. The 'clear' is what I would call 'opaque'.I wanted to use these as a desktop, stacking them as needed. While I find it would work OK for that when using 2 or more and maybe putting a Duck Brand 280211 Non-Adhesive Solid Grip Easy Shelf Liner, 20-Inch x 8-Feet, Ultra-Fresh, Black between the two (they are quite ridged when on the shelving unit), I bought a plexiglass shelf insert elsewhere which I think I'll be using instead.These liners are quite substantial, and I'm pleased with them. Despite this, I found several other options for this purpose in a rolled form at my local home improvement store (after purchasing these) which are just as good and easier on the budget.The Alera liners are clear which is attractive, but at one quarter the price, the non-clear product I found that can be cut to size would have been a better budgetary choice. I'm kind of kicking myself for not seeing it first!You will be getting a quality product if you choose these Alera plastic shelf liners, but recognize there are other less expensive options out there that look very nice and get the job done too. I would give this product five stars if I could get each of the four pieces for three dollars apiece versus the six I paid.

Slightly larger than the wire rack shelving I have. It was easily cut to size with my mat cutter.You could use heavy duty scissors if that is all you have. The material is thin enough to cut but thick enough to be effective. I will purchase this again to finish the rest of the shelves
