Works surprisingly well with compressed CO2
I run compressed CO2 in my aquarium. Up until recently, I've always run it through my Eheim filter's intake. However, the resultant chemical reaction causes the seals to harden on the Eheim and after going through a couple of expensive pumps, I decided to quit doing this. I eyed some of the commercial CO2 diffusers and they cost too much. I tried some cheapo pumps that sat in the bottom of the tank and they just don't atomize well enough. I came across this airstone and it's extraordinary claims. Well, I've been running it for a few months now and it does produce very fine bubbles and I'm very pleased. Sometimes the bubbles are larger, usually if a fish knocks the stone around, then it will settle back into the super-fine bubbles. Given this "off label" use of the product and the really low volume of CO2 being introduced into the stone, I'm quite pleased with how it has worked. Note that the stone did let out huge bubbles for the first couple of days, around the connector, until the stone fully saturated with water. I'm going to pick up a few more of these so I can disperse CO2 more evenly.Note - if you're reading this and haven't used CO2 in a planted aquarium, you'll need a regulator setup. You can't just connect this thing to the CO2 tank and turn it on.

Pretty good, but not really hyperbole-worthy
I'm using it as the air stone in a bubble cloner that I made for my ornamentals and veggies. It's not as effective or as large as I had hoped from my communications with the company, but still pretty good. I imagine it would be good in an aquarium. They oversold it, but it's on me for accepting that. This stone doesnt put out super fine bubbles
I have 3 of these stones and ill be buying 2 more soon. This stone doesnt put out super fine bubbles, but it does put out a lot of bubbles. It comes with instructions on how to clean it, but I prefer putting it in some peroxide and running the pump for a day or 2. The stone is strong, dosnt turn to dust. The plastic part is attached really well on all 3

I've tried a few different types and shapes of airstones. This has done the best so far as to stay in the substrate where I placed it, and creating finer bubbles. I prefer the smaller bubbles and this gets the job done well.

Lasted about 2 days
I had such high hopes for this item. I wanted it to be as terrific as it sounded. Unfortunately, even with a low-grade air pump adjusted down to almost nothing it developed a hole in one side and leaked from the patch on the end of the stone. No tiny bubbles for us!

I love the amount of mini bubbles the stone creates
I love the amount of mini bubbles the stone creates. Not sure if it is just the individual stone sent to me or if all stones break down a little after a day or two. It is still very functional & beneficial air stone.

Works good with a good pump
I have been looking into finding a Air Stone That would come out in tiny bubbles. Well this one worked very well. It's not very big like 5 to 6 inches but it's good to conceal in plants or tank decor. To sum it up the price is good product works very well but important you need a good descent pump to create that curtain of Bubbles a cheap pump is not going to give you that effect.

Very nice, just clean them often with Muriatic Acid
I think people should consider failing to use a large enough air pump. It takes substantial liters per minute to meet the reqs. It also takes a lot more to rinse the acid out after cleaning than you might think. Draw some water through it into your mouth once you think it's totally fish safe. You'd be surprised it might not be. It should be as clean tasting water as any fountain if it's rinsed properly.
