I have had Hermit Crabs as pets now for nearly 15 years. I provide them with a variety of different foods, but they seem to enjoy this food more than any other type of food. As an additional bonus, I raise crickets and I believe they enjoy this food as much as if not more than my Hermit crabs. If you take care of your hermies and they live long lives like mine, this huge container of variety bites will save over a hundred dollars compared with purchasing the smaller containers of the same food.

I'm having a hard time finding anything my crabs really like but I like this. A variety of fine granules and small flakes. Easy to serve, No real odor which may be why crabs don't love it. Believe me when I say I offer a crab buffet including fresh fruits and veggies.

The best hermit crab food on the market. I've tried them all and even my own concoctions. I've had my hermits for 2 years. I used this and they are happy and healthy. Meets all their nutritional requirements. And they absolutely love it!!

I have tried lots of foods. One crab ate this his whole life of 15 years (He was killed by a burglar). My current crab is 3 years old and hs never complained about the food. The company is good to work with. That counts.

My hermit crab loved the original HBH Hermit Crab Variety Bites. The first 4 ingredients were shrimp meal, white wheat, red wheat, coconut. The "newer" version has fish meal, barley, white wheat, red wheat. The Coconut flakes are 8th on the list, making the amount in the food negligible. My hermit crab barely tolerates the stuff, but I can't find the original.

This is the food my crabs like best, and a great price. I scoop out a smaller bottle full at a time and feed the crabs from the smaller container to keep the larger container fresh and to reduce potential spills when I do day-to-day feeding. Whenever I put this food in, they come scampering for the food dish. A lot of other foods--especially anything in pellet form--they just ignore and let it mold.
